Blizzard seems to be setting up a nice control shaman... But none of this works if the archetype relies on shit like Cryostasis, sooo I better see some big dick spells soon.
Elemental Witch Shaman will be decent if not top tier. Has great board control plus amazing card draw/generate mechanism. Add in Unstable Evolution for even more rng fest.
This card comes right before Kalimos, very interesting. The stat line is not the strongest, but the card has pseudo taunt and there will be two of them!
To slow especially as a Bog card why doesnt it have taunt, than it would be playable but do you include a 7 mana card that you have to combo with other cards for draw?!
Especially if you play hagatha and Servants of Kalimos i dont see you run out of cards fast. Mayyyybe as a 1 off but i doubt it its just to expensive.
That said its sometimes a good pick with servant of kalimos in control matchups thus might see play even if not good enough to include in your deck.
OK, kinda slow and the stats can be compared to a 7 mana 6/6 minion,
but this does answer shaman's biggest weakness and that's something. For a long time people mentioned Hagatha in elemental shaman, so this can fit there. Even if you get worthless spells like Totemic Might, this can cycle them.
For now I'm rating it playable, I want to see the rest of shaman's set in order to evaluate this correctly. Good thing, that shamans get some love. We don;t get OP cards, but still some decent ones.
[edit] not to mention, that the stat distribution is made so, that the minion will survive a lot of trades or single target-removals, so this is also nice

if you're playing control and you get Cryostasis from Witch's Apprentice after playing Bogshaper you get a 3/4 taunt and you draw a minion haha,that-s the only utility i can think of for Cryostasis
interesting. a bit expensive, but 8 health means it has a chance to survive a turn even if you just drop it naked on 7. definitely adds some missing synergy to hagatha, which didn't previously didn't really seem to have a home. hagatha on 8, this plus a cheap removal on turn 9 to draw a random spell and a minion, and then you start getting some real value rolling in. but this a REALLY slow train to get moving, i doubt the deck ends up being viable

intresting card, probably more intresting for wild to some archetype to work as tutor card for malygos or something. Not the easiest card to crack but I like that. Obviously strong synergy with hagatha and now probably replaces auctioneer that i was thinking to use with hagatha.
the thing is...you need to survive until turn 7/8 against aggro decks which is going to prove difficult unless rush and echo totally shift the meta but even if echo and rush shift the meta going crazy with card draw is not going to out value big priest, cubelock and such

if the meta stays the same, then its too slow,i can see potential though, especially if they introduce some good spells
This is some strong stuff.
Seems a bit expensive. Works wonder with Hagatha the Witch. Maybe it'll be good?
That is a really bad elemental ...

Death to Aggro!
So Hagatha will be played in Elemental shaman builds
With the DK on then good. Play on curve? Weak, psedo taunt vs midrange or control but very weak vs aggro
this with Hagatha could mill yourself out

Why is he elemental? I mean, cards like Bog Creeper and Fen Creeper don't have elemental tribe.....

At 7 mana this seems hardly playable.
Release the Kraken!
maybe it survives, but do you survive?
