* Although having a a 2 mana 2/2 with 2 attributes on the board is really nice,
* the restriction isn't small and it all depends on how the paladin's set will look like (also on whether we will see neutral dragons and how strong they can be).
* Like some people are already mentioning - this can be outshined by Call to Arms.
Paladin dragon cards in wild are solid, but they never got support, because they abandoned the idea of Dragon paladin and pretty much gave all dragons to priest for some reason.
I guess the epic rarity is due to it's arena powerlevel. Let's see what dragons they come up with later to evaluate this card properly. Of course a shielded minibot with taunt is freakin OP.
Ill play this with CTA since what would you prefer to draw in an dragon deck this or an dragon CTA is basically draw 3 card play them for board pressure and make your future draws more likely to draw your dragons.
The biggest question isnt if ill play this with CTA but is it worth it to play dragon paladin at the moment id say this wont make me play dragon paladin it need an card like dragon op or duskbreaker in paladin for me to consider it.
I haven't read all the comments, but I suspect some people might be comparing this card to Dragon Consort - a great card that never saw play because the only deck in which it "works" was never viable. The new card is 5 stars in Dragon Paladin, but if the deck isn't viable, then Cathedral Gargoyle won't see play.
awesome card not many dragons but it will be good in some other archetype, sine some of the dude summoning cards are leaving to wild we wont be seeing much of the aggro paladins
They need to introduce more paladin/neutral dragons in order to make Dragon pally a thing. This one and the amalgam thingie are not enough.

Guys, imagine DIVINE DRAGON PALADIN DECK,does not that sound awesome? It does for me.Paly got some protection for BIG minions,Bolvar may see play now and many other divine based minions,I wish we will get some HUGE dragons and some more divine shields legies that do great. We have rebuke guys they will not polymorph our monsters that easy.I have hope that pala will get some huge empower this expansion and this card announces a huge deck to come
Hands down one of the strongest 2-drops in the game. It may not see play in aggressive decks since it has poor synergy with Call to Arms and there aren't very many aggressive dragons, but I could definitely see Control Paladin running this. It also curves really well from Hydrologist, since you can play it plus a secret like Redemption or Getaway Kodo.
My first though was ARE YOU MOCKING ME?
For now I'm calling it playable:

wild dragon Paladin?
Not really exciting voted playable
Top deck is cheat
Card is good, but it needs more serious Dragon support to revive the archetype and make it concurrent with builds based on CtA (including Control).
The above is particularly true in Wild.
OP in wild, unusable in standard most likely.

I like that they push pally in another direction again. If this gets more support the opener protector, gargoyle will be hard to beat.
Still, I have the feeling that this will not see play right away, but rather next expansion.
Occasionally gives helpful advice.
This is good only if dragon Paly will be good

I don't know how viable a Dragon Paladin deck is... but, wow, that card is super powerful.

IS the rarity of this card an April fools joke because this doesn't seem epic at all.
