Wowsers that's a great card. Even if your opponent silences it, so long as you have some healing to back it up then it can still start controlling the board vs. aggro for you. Even vs. non-Walrock control it seems like an entirely reasonable card considering the ago upside. I genuinely wonder what wins out between this and Applebaum.
Card is bonkers. No way it wont see play given the stats are good playable at 6 cards. Cheating this thing will be ridiculous. Imagine this in priest against aggro. Turn 5 this. Turn 6, rez this at full health. Not even that optimistic or complicated.
I don't really see this as a very good anti-aggro tool. Even though that is what is obviously is intended to be.
I've been toying with Lakarri Felhound in my control warlock deck. I was pulling one from my deck with Guild REcruiter on turn 5. So, on turn 5 I was dropping a 3/8 taunt on the board. Hoping, praying that my opponent would struggle to get through it.
Nope. I don't think it slowed down my aggro opponent even once.
It would die to a 1/3 that was suddenly poisonous. It would get silenced. It would be turned into a 3/3. It would have it's health lowered to 1. It just didn't do much.
And this will suffer from all the same problems. Plus this is pretty poor if facing control.
A good anti aggro tool is something to clear the board. Taunts are just over-rated. Even when they drop 3 1/3 taunts it still often doesn't buy you more than a turn.
So, give me something to board clear or at least something to early contest the board. But, don't try to sell me a mid game taunt with a big butt, because to me it's just fool's gold.
If you are waiting until turn 5 to try to control the board, you can't really blame the cards.

This card will single handedly be the death of aggro. A 13 hp taunt with a drawback of Flame Imp on turn 5 (that is also netural btw)... how do you get through that? And yes, you might say that it has about the same effect as Viodlord but Voidlord needs to be ceated out to come out before turn 9 and it is also a class card. Wtf were blizzard thinking.
nice anti-aggro card , love this design
Seems like a strong card, also has synergy with recruit, hadronox, and the new druid card that just got revealed.
Seems like a good anti-aggro tool
Fuck cubelock
Meta-defining considering that you can only play this card in an aggro meta, and an aggro meta is destroyed by this card.
I mean, token druid seems like a bit "handed", but ...
This will not see any play in constructed except decks with cheating abilities.
Good vs control warlock 5 mana 3/3
Murloc and Dude Paladin just got nuked from orbit.

For priest you can heal it, or rez it
Druid you can rez it.
Recruit it with Gather Your Party , Master Oakheart or Woecleaver
this is just too brutal anti agro

I love this card, however as long as Divine Favor is untouched it won't be that good. Paladin has some disgusting draw abilities.

it was confirmed it hurts itself, and not the hero right?
This is this expansion's Bonemare when it comes to arena.
Love it.
Looks like I gotta craft Master Oakheart after all if I don't get him in these giveaway packs.
Unfortunately Divine Favor is a thing
