I appreciate this post because I agree with you, but your opinion is not special enough to warrant its own thread. Just post in the card reveal thread.
You're right but tbf there are a lot more pointless, poorly considered posts on the forums. Especially recently
He's saying you have to build around Lady in White.
But you don't.
Uhhh, yes you do lol. You're saying that you could just jam any minion into a deck with Lady in White regardless of it's stats or effects? Every card you have which doesn't benefit from her effect makes her worse

Why are people even talking about MIstcaller? +1/+1 is the same as buffing attack to match health? Okay, whatever floats your boat.
It's pretty obvious that Mistcaller is the legendary with the most similar effect and statline. Maybe you're being purposefully disingenuous (or dare I say you are in denial lmao). But if you're as smart as you seem to think you are you'd know that it's the best comparison in the game and that it failed horribly
With a rotation new decks are sure to be created. Applying Inner Fire to your deck is insane! A deck built around this card should be easy to do.
Yes you can easily build around this card, and yes when you do applying the buff on turn 5/6 is great. But that's not a guarantee the deck itself will be any good, especially when you don't find Lady in White soon enough.
Since when is there any guarantee in Hearthstone? If you dont find Lady in White early, then the deck has to be able to adapt. I will point out that finding Prince Keleseth late in some games didnt stop decks from using him, building a deck around the card, or winning a lot of games.

Effect comparable, yes. Class comparable, not at all.
You don't need to have a one huge minion to get value form this card. If suddenly you can have a couple 5/5 7/7 minions on the board that's going to make a huge impact. Even if it's not an automatic finisher, the board swings that can come at any time make it way more powerful than The Mistcaller, imho. Also, it's more more activator for that 1/12 minion. Skulking Geist doesn't wreck the deck as much anymore.
I don't understand why people are keep saying this card is bad for a combo priest. It doesn't work well with your Twilight Drake - yes, but apart from that, I think it's an awesome card to have even in that deck - you take out the 2 Twilight drakes and replace them with this legendary and probably 1x Scaled Nightmare. You still have your divine spirit + inner fire combo, but no matter when you draw this card and play it - it will buff immensely all of your minions (which already do have more hp than attack btw).
You realize that the combo priest is not only about making 30/30 minion and OTK the opponent, right? You can chip his hp away and make an awesome value trades thanks to this op legendary. So, yes, I do think it's meta defining legendary and will be included in most, if not all, priest decks. You don't have to build a special deck around it. You can, if you want to, but you don't have to - because it just makes your minions that much more dangerous. You can hard mulligan for it, but again - you don't have to, because no matter when you draw and play it - it will still bring additional value to your minions left in your deck (assuming there are at least some of them still left in your deck). Of course if you play it on t5/t6 - the value skyrockets.
I am really eager to see what the other classes will get in order to counter this card. I think everyone else should be going full aggro and trying to kill the priest before he has a chance to play this one, else the late game is his. Especially if the deck is specifically designed around this card - with high hp minions and lot's of card draw.
Can't wait to see more cards revealed! :)

While I'm not ready to write Lady in White off entirely, I do agree that there is far too much hype. It's definitely a card to look out for in the future though.

The difference with Keleseth is that in those deck you can just jam a strong aggro or tempo deck without the 2 drops which is usually strong enough on it's own. In Lady in White decks you will be drawing a lot of cards that aren't Southsea Captains, or Scalebanes, instead they will probably be under-par high health minions that you wanted to turn into 7/7s

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
