In the reveal stream Frodan asks Peter if UE would get Echo. Peter said No, because UE was actually slightly different. Echo only applies when you play the card, whereas UE would give you a copy regardless of how it was cast. He used Yog as an example. Therefore you would not get any copies of this card in your hand from Lynessa.
I see, thanks for clarifying.
Okay, new here and to Hearthstone meta in general, and don't know if this is part of what ya'll were wondering, but just had a game where I played Ring the Bells x5 (had 10 mana, buffed multiple minions), Spikeridged Steed x1, and Blessing of Kings x2 before playing Lynessa. Each echo of Ring the Bells also buffed onto the card, which I wasn't expecting, and she ended up being 20/34. So I think the card has a lot of potential if you use it to both buff multiple minions and charge up Lynessa. In play I'm actually quite pleased with the results in general so far, because it allows for flexibility.
So far it hasn't been disappointing, even if the copy doesn't return to your hand. I feel like midrange or control paladin has a lot of tools available that synergize, and this card is a good addition
I haven't seen it mentioned yet but one way I've been using this card is in conjunction with Wild Pyromancer . I use it in an Even Paladin list and vs other midrange/aggresive decks it can swing the entire board and leave you with a sizable minion for them to deal with. It also works really well with The Glass Knight if you can manage to stick it on the board.
