Seriously though, even if you assume this guy gives you two 1 mana 2/2s every time, we have 5 mana for 6/5 worth of stats, a completely average statline. In reality, this card will tend to be even worse than that.
This draws you TWO cards for three mana. Who cares what the body is? This is going to see play somewhere for sure.
And no, this is not worse than Igneous Elemental. The average 1 drop is better than a plain 1/2, and battlecry is a lot better than deathrattle for the effect.
Igneous had elemental synergy, it's 2 cards had elemental synergy, it's body fought somewhat for board, and most one drops are as bad if not worse than 1/2s in most decks. The one and only thing this has going for it is immediate payoff which will help it in hand decks.
Mmm.. keep in mind that there are A LOT of shitty 1 cost minions. It works with quest hunter, but quest hunter is garbage, and that ain't gonna change. I've also seen someone mention Baku, but this being odd-cost does not justify playing it. There are a lot of better minions to fill the 3-cost slot.
The things that's great about this card in Quest Hunter is that it supplies you 1-drops without you having to oversaturate your deck with it, similarly to Fire Fly.
On the other hand, its tribeless and underwhelming so it may hurt to even include this in the deck.

3 mana is very expensive for this effect. What class would pay 3 mana to draw 2 cards? Not hunter I can promise you that. Change that to 2 1-mana minions and it gets worse. Even adding a 2/1 body does basically nothing but just die, doesn't progress the board, doesn't draw you to your good cards. Only place this could fit is token, and it's a bad token card at that. Unplayable

Blizz is really good at taking the lazy approach to cards. "OKAY GUYS! What should the minions this card gives you be!?" "How about something neat and useful?" "NO YOU'RE FIRED." "I dunno how about random 1 drops." "YOU'RE A GENIUS! PRINT IT!"
With Hagatha you can play Murmuring Elemental + Ravencaller for 5 mana to add four random 1 cost minions to your hand, play all four of those minions to have six minions on board and have added six random Shaman spells to your hand. That actually seems pretty good, but this is still a bad card.
And if you don't draw Hagatha, you can play this card, both 1 mana minions + DK, making a upgraded board with 3 minions even if you have nothing in board before.
But I really don't see this card see play in any other than shaman deck, quest hunter is terrible, even when works.
Why are people still discussing it: this is simply a bad card: 3 mana 2/1 is unplayable, even if you get 2 1 mana minions. This is a massive tempo-loss and as a hunter you never want to lose tempo. Adding value-cards to a hunter (even through this isn't even valueable) NEVER WORKS, especially on QUEST HUNTER.
Some cards here are totally overhyped (Master Oakheart), some cards are very underrated (Shadow Visions). But here none of them applies: This is simply a bad card.

As for evolve shaman.. why would you play this? 5 mana summon a 3 mana and 2 1 mana tokens or 4 mana summon 4 tokens?
Call in the finishers is probably as good and sees no play.

In arena if your struggling to get bodies on the board round turn 4 or 5 this is ok to compete with a swarm board, but not really constructed viable.
