No, it turned out to cause even more of a rock-paper-scissors effect on the meta than usual, and we ended up with a bunch of very same-y feeling decks. (Not to mention one faction being much weaker than the other two.)

It's a nice idea when done right, but didn't work for Mean Streets at all as some factions were much weaker, and some classes were poorly suited to the faction they received.
Wouldn't it be interesting if there were cards that belong to 2 or more classes?

Instead of being stronger class cards they just ended up being worse neutrals.
