Note that Crowley gets the stats also during enemys Turn compared to Bogeymonster!!!!! Thats actually huuuuuge since enemy can only trade into this with minions bigger than 2/2!.
extremely good tempo card, 5 Stars!
thats wrong it says "whenever this minion attacks" which means you have to attack to get the buff
Imo during the reveal it was translated wrong, at the time i posted that comment it said "whenever this kills a minion".
Different rule question thought. How does this interact with 5 and 4 attack minions it kills? Has anybody "Bogeymonster experience"?
I know that Finja when he killed a 4/2 and fetched a warleader(pre nerf) he stays on board with 1 HP. So I asume this would survive trading into a 5/4 right?!
Just think about it Druid of the Claw is a 5 mana 4/4. No buffs, but can hit face if needed OR you can make a 4/6 taunt . And it's a beast. Druid of the Claw see exactly ZERO play Nice legendary, t5 ^^
Talking about thinking, I think that you're missing some pretty big point, Druid of the Claw it's a card from another class who has a hero power that can change board states, and doesn't really play anything on the board at turn 5 at all. And over those things, has a lot of tools to play much higher cost minions early, so why in the world a druid player will play that card?
It's totally different for the Warrior, this class relays on minions like this to control the board, of course it can just keep playing brawl and taunt stuff, there's some wonderful as 5 drops right now in standard, but that's playing from behind, my friend. Some players actually enjoy the proactive game. This card give them that.

I don't think Boogeymonster ever went further than disenchant button, let alone finish in someone's deck.
Anyone who voted this card as bad is just plain dumb and not looking further than this card. Play Cornered Sentry , followed up by Darius Crowley . This gives you a 2/6 taunt and a 10/7 rush minion on the spot for only 7 mana.
People saying it is 2 for 1 are missing something. You are spending 5 mana to kill most likely a minion that costs less than 5 mana, because most minion are 5+ mana will be out of reach for Darius. And then you are left with a 3 health minion on the board generally, which dies to 1 or 2 mana removals/minions.
So yeah, at best it is 2 for 1 about card advantage, but not really 2 for 1 about tempo and mana efficiency.
Imo this card will not see any play, unless there are new cards to support it. Currently I would play Muck Hunter over Darius.

You can only attack ones and you get +2+2 so you will never get 10/7
The way I look at this card is that it's roughly equivalent to a spell with "Destroy a minion that is 3/4 or smaller. Summon a 6/3 minion." That's not bad at all for 5 Mana; it compares favorably with Flanking Strike and Fire Elemental, unless there's lots of 4/3s or Poisonous minions around. Still, it's merely balanced, not overpowered, and the best decks aren't looking for the former but the latter.
Voted Playable, but it's closer to Bad than it is to Very Good.

WHAT?
You cannot attack again when you killed a minion.
You get a 2/& taunt and a damaged 6/5 for 7 mana and your opponent has 2 1/1's

Sure, your opponent will gently wait 2 more turns while you killing another 2 raptors with Crowley.
I don't like when they waste lore source and legendary tag for such bullshit, seriously you can make this card rare and nobody would bat an eye. Yet there we go, again a legendary minion with rare value.

That's obviously not as simple. The rush is not really a cool advantage, if you spend it cleaning up a 1/1 that you created. You also assume that the opponent opts to not trade, even though darius is on the board, which would be really stupid. Also you spend two turns not doing stuff and hoping darius survives.
So not really realistic. This will sometimes be a vanilla 4/4 and almost does nothing against control. Sometimes it will be a weaker and cheaper fire elemental which is ok I guess. And best case you play against dudes and trade a 1/1 with more targets on the board. But even then, do you really go for another trade with your 6/5?
I have a hard time imagining in which world this card would be really good...
Again no return of Wallet control warrior this expansion such a shame. specially after the dissapointment of never getting a dk class
Well still 1 legendary left to be revealed, dont give up so soom. And talking about wallet you can play this card in a Odd Control Warrior using the quest as control wincondition. So it can include The quest, this card, Elise, Harrison Jones, Baron Geddon, Ysera , Alex and Baku. That is 8 legendaries already, pretty wallet to me lolz

I already say it on the article comment section, you're idea it's great. Now, we need some card draw to make this work more consistently, the good new is that warrior also has Dead Man's Hand so, don't fear the fatigue reaper.

On spot? this can't attack 3 times per turn.. it can attack once, but right away.. this is an ok combo though
the amount of underestimation of this card. this one trades and continues to pose a treat for your opponent.
The archtype they are trying to push in a sort of tempo rush warrior or just tempo warrior with some rush minions the 2/5 (+3 first turn, rush) is also quite good at gaining tempo, with rush is like your minions are weapons, they can't attack face? so what? most minions can't attack face right away, if you win the board, you can attack face afterwards.
Even with Rush, this is a fricking 5 mana 4/4. It procs maybe 1 time, maybe never. And you need to attack and kill, like on Boogeymonster. And like Boogeymonster, this is trash, even with rush.

Sure but that only real control warrior card so far is the infinite whirlwind till you run out of mana. I was really hoping for a sick control warrior legend wich indeed can still happen but past expansion have shown that it wont happen after seeing these cards. I also hoped for the DK to be a sick control warrior card but that turned out like a major dissapointment

Another dust tier leg for warrior. Hope that second one will be some win condition for Ctrl matchup

It's a very good card, as well as The Boogeymonster would have been a good card with CHARGE!
