This is not true, garrison commander did saw play, it was replacing armor maidens or armor smiths (don't remember which one got the cut) in some TGT or LOE warrior lists also was played in C'thun warrior sometimes specifically cause of the synergy with tank up.
Also got played in "chansey priest" a wild raza combo deck with that 5/4 guy that deals 4 to both each cast of hero power.
You'd need to play this twice right to do 4 hero powers in a single turn... that's 6 mana.
Four x hero power = 8 mana. Can't be done. ?
If you copy a horseman with Zola (or bounce it with a pandaren) and then manage to keep another behind some taunts/steed you could get the kill next turn. I think the potential is quite good. It really depends on how control pala is going to be positioned in the coming meta. At the moment priest and warlock outshine it. Probably Rebuke could help with setting up the lethal? :) I'm actually excited since horsemen pala is on of my very favorite decks.

amount of misinformation in your post is astounding. No, Garrison Commander did not seecompetitive play unless you are counting random obligatory theorycrafting decks after expansion gets released.
And no wild raza combo priest with Spawn of Shadows never utilized garrison commander because anduin's hero power gets refreshed anyway wth.

Saw it being featured in some ladder decks, in HPWN some featured decks too I am quite certain of that, in tournaments I don't know I don't follow them. it was on the lines of it giving more armor that shield maidens while being playable early game, it was played at some point.
The pre anduin version(unguru) used garrison commander, I know, cause my friend was spamming that deck when kripp featured it, I don't remember if he got to legend with THAT deck but he got to legend several times.
Garrison commander not seeing play doesn't directly translates to this one not seeing play, the meta might be more favorable for slower, value plays, or for a 7 mana 3/4 gain 8 armor card, it's kinda close to Ancient Shieldbearer maybe..
Dunno trying to see the positive of this card, it's probably not very good but it has potential.
I'm calling it now. The hunter deck recipe will be 'Survival Hunter'. It will feature Baku, Pixie, Clockwork Automaton, Kill Command, and a bunch of taunt minions. Can you hide from the terrors of the Witchwood? Basically you turtle up behind taunts like applebaum and creeper and spam the hero power to "run out the clock". It will be a fun deck to try but ultimately a vain attempt to move players away from face hunter.
With Auctionmaster Beardo rotating out any DK Uther deck will have this on auto-include, but you are correct - the OTK is impossible. At best you could only bring out 3 in one turn and that would still cost you 12 mana so you'd need to save coins from Burgly Bully....that you won't have because they also rotate out. So unless more cards help it out, Exodia Paladin is defintely a weaker deck with MSOG rotating away.
It's nice. Decent enough stats, but i'm not sure enough decks or mechanics currently in standard would care about this.

I can already think in two wild combos for Exodia Paladin using this card, I'll have to see how reliable they can be.

If they give pally a new way of getting coins and you can stick on the board one horsemen then you can do the combo in one turn
Thought about this for Baku Mage but then it's really only 7 mana 4 damage 3/4 body in that context
