...It's a cute card, but nowhere as good as Flamewaker which is cheaper and deals immediate damage. Even that card does not see much play in Wild atm.
Flamewaker isn't played, because right now you need a deck that simply can go face. Flamewaker does kill small frys too, and you don't really care about them. Right now you want to go face, with everything possible. Also in Face Mage it is simply too slow.
As is this card right now. If blizzard ever get rid of Naga Sea Witch, then i can see a meta where this might work in an heavy spell deck with Flamewaker and this card.
Insanely scary card. Imagine a turn 4 this + The Coin + Mirror Image. That's going to wreck most decks without AoE.
So what kind of deck? A defensive swarm mage without buff cards that has the amazing three cards combo to get an average of 18 stat points where 4 are the mirror images?
This card is not good and will only see play if multiple GOOD one or zero cost Mage spells are added. Even then, probablt wont see play.
It's a shitty tempo play that's easy to kill and even in a dream scenario easily cleared.
Anyone that brought up Flamewaker is clueless. A 3 mana 4 health minion that can immediately affect the enemy board vs a 4 mana 3 health minion that can sometimes summon a random 2 drop?
The big problem with this card is that there is no support in mage for going wide, and I don't think that will change anytime soon. This is a below-average arena card, and completely irrelevant in ranked play.
seems preeeeeeetty good. especially for a common. this doesn't seem like a common card ability to me. at least rare. will be happy to draft a lot of these in arena. and there's def some cases where you will want the guy who "knew it".

yeah, but this guy doesn't really need support (well, besides being able to play spells after it hits the board). he goes wide all by himself, which is plenty fine value on its own. if you can even get two two-drops out of this, then it's worth playing i think.
Turn 4 = this + coin + mirror image? :D Probably not good enough but we'll see.
Ibn Fahd.
I predict zero play in standard.
The little value you get from a terrible tempo loss can't make up for it.
edit: Look at Faceless Summoner which got even more tempo and only needs one card for the value.

Basically that, unplayable pack filler!!
Another stupid and useless mage card... and we already have two of them in this expansion, Poor Mages :(
Not sure if trying to be funny or just high ;)
Misevaluated Mage cards are always a fun subject.

Dust. 100% guaranteed useless card.

cant wait to see doomsayer from it :D

Perhaps the best; and most self-aware; flavor text.
