What a terrible card. Awesome idea but completely wasted with this stupid mana cost. 3 mana or 4 damage would have been fair. Since 3 damage spells cost 2 mana, that means 2 mana is being paid just to get a damn coin, and that is even conditional! Nobody needs a coin this badly...
If only Gadgetzan Auctioneer wasn't in standard... then maybe this could have been a good card at 3 mana.
But nope.
Instead we get a ludicrously overpriced removal. 3 damage is worth 2 mana generally. This spell, in exchange for +2 mana, will refund you 1 mana. And it can't go face. And it has to get the killing blow.
What's with all these epics that don't belong in the epic slot? Seriously now, a 4 mana Darkbomb with the chance of getting a coin? In what world is that concept worth of the epic quality? FeelsbadRogue
This card seems to expensive. Darkbomb and frostbolt costs 2 mana, and this is just a more expensive version. Essentially you are paying two mana for a conditional bonus.
I don’t see it. 2 mana 3 damage is premium removal. But then the coin costs 2 mana which is ridiculously overpriced. And If I consider the coin costing just 1 mana, then the 3 mana is too expensive for 3 damage... either way, it seems not good enough. Only if the utility of the coin is really valuable to rogue this will see play (which I do not think it presently is the case).
oh this is awful. 4 mana deal 3. assuming you get the coin, 3 mana deal 3. would u ever play 3 mana deal 3 in contructed? never. this could have EASILY have been a 3 mana card it then maybe, it would see play even then its not too amazing
7 Mana 4/4 draw 3 cards with 3 card combo and killing a minion with less than 4 health. Of course that's the only use I could think of with this.
Other than the purpose of drawing more cards or possibly having an 11 or 12 cost combo in the future, I'd rather have an Eviscerate.
this or a turn 3 prep + wanted + coin + edwin for an 8/8 plus kill a small minion. not horrible, but pretty limited. flavor is great though, as others have said

I have and I was happy too with a card that also stored tempo for later, Forgotten Torch. This is a Rogue spell, so I'll say it once again, don't underestimate a coin generator in Rogue.
Genn Greymane Keleseth tempo rogue. Coin is so valuable in a tempo match, and with the dagger costing one you can always at least have a dagger for damage. Play some early minions, play this card turn 4 to protect them and set up a strong turn 5 with the coin. Coin is very necessary in an even deck to fill out the odd mana turns.

I love the flavor of the card, sure, but in a game that has Frostbolts, Wraths, Lightning Bolts, Flanking Strikes, Shadow Bolts, and more, this card just embarrasses itself. Heck, this card makes Hammer of Wrath start to look good...
No, especially in the class with Backstab and Eviscerate, there is no room for a spell this underwhelming.

If evolution is outlawed, only outlaws will evolve.
Think about this:
Gadgetzan Auctioneer + Preparation + WANTED! + Coin.

Don't underestimate this one folks. It's a coin generator for Rogue.

Well, i guess it's my second Dust it! ever for a Rogue card (first was Face Collector). #SAD

I think it's a pretty cool card, it synergies with all classic rogue cards, pretty useful with preparation ans Thalnos.
Basically a card that cycles itself.
If it costed less it would be too powerful .
loving its flavour.
This actually makes Prep a lot more useful in Miracle lists, since Rogue spells are generally so cheap you usually don't get much of a discount.

two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3

should cost 2 with the restriction. costs way too much.
I can't say no to miracle rogue cards. And the flavor is awesome

Playable.
