What hunter deck would want this? Aggro? Quest hunter feels like a no. Spell hunter would love this but with To My Side and Rok'Delar it poses the problem of inconsistency. I don't understand why this has over 50% vote as very good. I mean, it's a great card I just don't see it as something hunters are asking for
not really too sure how I feel about this card, as others have already stated playing this with stampede could be kinda fun but it's trying to make some sort of deck that would actually work with it so I really dunno, certainly though a consideration of playing this in place of kindly grandmother when it rotates out.

spell hunters are not playing both "to my side" and "rokdelar" at moment, and it is really strong deck now by this reason. its MVP are Barnes and spellstone.
So according to mastif, I think it can fit well some sort of secret/face hunter with hyenas, jugler, dire wolf, secrets and spellstones. But this deck will be very vulnerable to control lock, so maybe it would fit tournament meta only.
Pretty flexible as removal. Reminds me of Forbidden Flame: you dump X mana into it, and get X damage out.
It's a bit worse in some ways: * it can only get damage in multiples of 2 * it has to hit taunts first
But it is also better in some ways: * it can split its damage between multiple creatures * it has fantastic synergy with cards like Knife Juggler, Dire Wolf Alpha and Scavenging Hyena * it is great at triggering mage secrets.
The only real reason this might not get run is that it is a hunter card that is bad at going face. Still, I think it has potential.
Far from auto include, and i doubt anybody will play this card without buffing his attack.
I think it probably is auto-include, unless it's spell hunter (which I don't think survives the loss of Barnes). It can remove wide boards of small things. A big thing. It can let you go wide if there isn't anything to kill. It does lots of good things that lots of decks like to do.
One should note that this card falls into the second pick of Build-a-Beast so you can't combine it with poisonous minions or Penguins. You can, however, use it with the cheaper Deathrattle or Battlecry beasts. There's even a pretty fun interaction if you play it alongside a Corpse Widow Imagine playing two Widows and a Plated Beetle fused with this. INFINITE ARMOR, SUCK IT WARRIOR.
I like how much flexebility the cards from WW have so far. I think Rush is the best mechanic they did so far. Itll help make comebacks more easy wile pushing board centric strategies instead of just pushing damage for lethal.
I hope they make a give all beasts poisonous card for hunter.
Why make this and the new legendary? Why not make an echo card that the new legendary can use?
idk maybe that want to print different cards that support a variety of play styles and not have a set with build-a-deck 'must crafts.' maybe because the other card is a legendary, it's kind of nice that you can play this and not have to have drawn/played the legendary first in order to make some good trades. maybe it's a good thing for hunter to have multiple options and tools, cards that have a similar use but different mana cost because you want to do different things at different stages of the game. maybe it's cool to not rely solely on a single card surviving in order to have your cards have echo. why print echo cards at all when the hunter legendary exists? maybe they want to give newer players or players without a lot of gold/dust/real money the opportunity to have cool early drops with rush, but not be required to spend all their dust on a legendary for a class they might not even end up playing.
but what the fuck do i know.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
This card is amazing. And the Hunter DK just got a hell of a lot better.

Looks okay. Kind of wish it was a 2/2 though. Will have to wait and see how it performs.
Finally, a minion that makes Starving Buzzard viable. Kappa
Arena experiences:
Then... Houndmaster Shaw...

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Seems like a cool card I expected a low cost beast for hunter (I predicled a 1/2 1 mana beast with echo for quest)
but this is probably more playable... it's removal, kind of, but flexible, and spare mana goes into more dogs.
I think it is funny that there are only 2 choices for this card: Meta-defining or very good
