I see the Lyra comparison tossed around for obvious reasons. The comparison I'd use, though, is Hydrologist. It's on a very different scale, but the point remains: Paladin secrets are very useful, they're just not worth including in your deck and diluting your draws. The same goes for most of what you're going to pull from Hagatha. Shaman spells are actually pretty useful! Yeah, you're going to pull an occasional Ice Fishing, Primal Fusion, or Totemic Might. But 85%+ of your Hagatha spells are going to offer you removal, healing, transform effects, or pure value.
Control Shaman? Spiteful Shaman? what deck can play this?
Personally I expected something like DK Guldan
Anyway Let's be Optimistic and I'm giving 4/5 just because it's the only Herocard in this expansion
Midrange Elemental Shaman.
Suddenly your Blazecaller becomes "7 mana: Play a 6/6, deal 5 damage, gain a random spell". Elementals suddenly doubling up on their value is going to be huge.
It is kind of disappointing when cards revealed don't live up to the hype build up, by previous trailers and promotional videos . I voted playable but I would play Kalimos over this anytime.
Board clear and card draw - both shaman's biggest weaknesses
Auto-include and auto craft for me
How exactly is this an auto-craft for you? You do realize that many of the current Shaman spells are weak or situational, do you? And as a Control deck I don't want to clog my hand with possibly useless cards. Priest has so many good spells that he can afford running Lyra the Sunshard while generating massive amounts of value. But Shaman?
Why... does it ALWAYS have to be some RNG clown fiesta?????? Curses! (takes on Morgls appearance)
The 8 mana hellfire gain 5 is really weak. You can only play this in a really specific boardstate. After that you gain maybe 6 random spells, but also lost your totems or your evolve.
This card is fine, but you still need to find a way for Shaman to win the game. Jades are gone. Elementals have not been good. Maybe in a spiteful shaman if that is possibly a thing.
Hagatha is at least "playable", but this is ass. Getting random spells is pretty strong, I do not deny that. Having this as a permanent effect is indeed threatening. The card is alright, though the battlecry could have been much better for that mana cost, either targeting enemies only or dealing 5 damage.
What really bothers me: Is that really the new "class identity" of Shaman now? Get random spells and see how lucky you get? Pretty much like Casino Mage has been, with Witch's Apprentice being a carbon copy of Babbling Book? Are you serious?!
Not only is this a confession of lack of creativity, it is another "fun" theme for a struggling class which is likely not doing very well. And the worst part is, if it should be doing well, it will make the game so terribly random again. Now they just need to add a super powerful Shaman spell that feels like winning the lottery, like Firelands Portal, and we can all have "fun" winning and losing by dicerolls all over again.
It feels like whenever they run out of ideas, they just add more extremely random stuff that might be fun playing with but feels terrible playing against. I'm REALLY disappointed.
As Runespear clearly showed us.. shaman spells sucks.. I mean I've seen so many discovers, where there is just no good option..
Boardclear is nice and all, there is value, but I am still dissapointed, I feel that people came with much more interesting ideas, like the potions brewing etc..
I'm disappointed.
I already crafted Thrall, Deathseer. I think I'm better off with that, but with Duskbreaker , Defile, and Hellfire I'm not too confident there either.
wtf blizzard is this the too op cant make it nerf it card u got us all hyped about, fkn disappointed af
shaman rising.

too op!! value with echo mechs.
Damaging your own minions in a deck that is going to be running lots of minions seems not so great.
I can't really tell how good this will be until we see the new shaman spells.

So you thought only Mage had an exodia combo eh
Spiteful Shaman push? Seems okay but nothing on the same level as Warlock, Priest, or Mage DK cards.
Are you playing solo against nobody taking turns? if so that probably will work great.
Most decks have you dead or something on board so nasty at turn 10 you will be dead.
GOOD IN QUEST MURLOC SHAMAN

Don't feel it.

She would be so much better if she Hexed the entire board with her battlecry, hard-countering diamond spellstone and demonlock.
That art. Seems like Thrall has put on a dress and thinks he is a witch now.
Murmuring Elemental on turn 10 is a great board clear
