I love how he just admits they just designed htis around the artwork. Pretty sure this is just pack filler....for SHaman no less. My heart goes out to all Shaman fans.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Shamans aren't getting any help so far. They were already an RNG mess because of the focus on evolution. Now they are doing a random spell theme. Problem is shamans have far to many subpar spells on the basic and classic sets. Back into your hole shaman, Blizzard still doesn't forgive you for your aggro hayday.
Guys, wait until you see what spells get revealed before calling Pepe bad. Between this, The Runespear, and Hagatha I'm sure we're going to see some great spells in this expansion and the next.
Babbling Book saw play, and although the average mage spell is better, shaman really needs card generation, especially with the lack of consistent card draw.
1/1 is much better than 0/1 for 1. It doesn't trade with anything and the spells it gives are generally much weaker than those of the Mage. There is no point in comparing it to Babbling Book. I don't think it will see any play.
Shaman has some good random spells to get... however in turn it has some horrid cards that can fill your hand and be largely unusable (Totemic Might). Sure it looked neat in the demo coupled with Hagatha... I don't see this being worthy of running in a standard deck though.
With the Mages Babbling Book, I think they have a better pool of cards that can justify taking up 1-2 slots in a deck for the RNG fiesta that they are.
Discuss!

RNG Shaman's comfirmed ^^
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Shaman's book. pretty good
This could actually be an amazing card. Stronger than Babbling Book and Jeweled Macaw, except the card pool it pulls from it weaker. We'll see.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Not sure. Shaman doesn't have that great of spells. I'm thinking....battlecry: "Add Totemic Might to your hand."

Join me at Out of Cards!
Another odd card for shaman.
Kinda slow, but the taunt is compensating it.Now shaman needs a big AoE.
note: For some reason I read it as deathrattle.
Babbling Book should have been a sheep, to maintain the Sheep/Polymorph : Frog/Hex connection lel

*ribbits how fun spells are*
Problem is shaman spells aren't as good as mage ones. Since shaman are going to get something new this round, I'll wait and see.
Terrible bad, sometimes the book is useless because you get a crap spell, shaman have much more crap spells than mage.
Why not discover?
Seems meh, random shaman spells ( so far ) arent good enough to run 1 mana 0/1 beast. Though shamans early game is quite bad so it might still be run.
Surprise!
Crafting this one golden times two ASAP.

Babbling Book, Swashburglar, Jeweled Macaw and Crystalline Oracle

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Shaman spells are currently too weak to make this good.
10/10 art, will craft golden versions regardless.

I assume this is meant for the legendary. Four 0/1 taunts protecting your legendary plus four (or eight) random spells seems pretty appealing to me
