Random legendary creators have never been good so far in the game. I doubt this is better. Getting three random legendariesto the hand at maximum (okay, shadowstep etc)....I don't know. Let's see.
Tons of value in this card with return mechanics. I assume you get the original card back so you can play it again next turn (and continue echoing it.) you can play it times turn 9 and shadow step. Then play it 3 times on turn 10 and prep vanish all remaining cards back
It's only just occurring to me that Echo and Quest Rogue might really destroy things for a while.
Well, so far the only echo cards we have seen cost 3 mana. Could be worse i suppose.
Well, quest rogue has Sonya Shadowdancer and 1 mana chargers. They're not gonna release an echo card that beats that. They're not gonna release anything that would risk making quest rogue making a comeback to the top.
A lot of very incorrect stuff floating around this thread.
Let's look at Prince Malchezaar. Bad card, why? Because of random legendaries Because it diluted your deck with cards you may not want, reduced your chances of drawing cards you DO want that you specifically put in your deck.
Confessor Paletress - Bad card, why? Because of random legendaries because as a 7-mana 5/4, it never survived a turn if you played it on 7, so you always had this dead card until turn 9 when you could get a single tick off it. When Raza/Anduin became a thing, suddenly it's a very playable card for generating big board swings. I would argue that even with current Raza, playing Paletress on 8 and getting a heal for 2 and summon a random legendary is not horrible.
Sneed's Old Shredder - Bad card, why? Because of random legendaries because at 8 mana, it's fucking expensive and it's only seen play in metas where aggro was NOT king, such as what we have now.
Back to Face Collector. The random legendaries aren't what made the previous cards bad. But what about the things that did make them bad? Face Collector doesn't dilute your deck, it adds cards to your hand. It doesn't require you to sacrifice a lot of tempo because of the stats, or have a dead card until turn 9. At 3 mana, it's not expensive.
tl;dr This is a decent card and you all need to learn how to evaluate new cards better.

You call every card great and get mad at the game. Maybe you should lower your expectations. This is a cheaper Rotface. Nothing more.
This card will be playable but its power level is decided by RNG. It will either straight up win you the game or you will lose a bunch of tempo. This will be a very fun card to play but wont be competitive (at least not in wild).
I'm very hesitent to knock this card as Rogues have surprised us with their ability to make so-called bad legendaries work of late. See Rogue Quest, Shaku and Sherizan and the avalanche of endless crying from posters about how Rogues never get anything good. YES, all 3 of those cards were called "underwhelming" to "bad" at the time of announcement by a very verbal part of the community.
That said, I think this is playable but will be very niche. You could get away with it in a competitive deck that has wiggle room. It's not possible to tell what is and what is not optimal with so many cards yet to be revealed. Something could pop up that makes it simply not an option or makes it meta.

I try to evaluate cards fairly (and am sometimes/frequently wrong), and yes I get mad at the game. Those two things have nothing to do with one another. Please leave salt thread drama where it belongs (which is nowhere).
Rotface has the same downside as Sneeds, except it has worse stats. The cheaper the card is, the more you have to be aware of possible game breaking value.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
You would possibly be dead before you have this and Brann in your empty hand from my experience in wild. Those secret mages and paladins won't let you get away with it. Not to mention giants.

Only game that card can break is the Trolden videos' meme game.
I said you need to be wary of that possibility with any cheap card (in other words, not immediately brushing it off as a bad card). Also, we have the entire rest of the set to see. Perhaps there will be neutral/Rogue cards that support this one? Instead of simply saying, "This card is bad," ask yourself, "This card doesn't appear to be good, but what would it need in order to see play, if such a thing existed?"

Seriously mate how can such a random card even get supported? A rogue spell with text "YOUR RANDOM LEGENDARIES THAT DID NOT START IN YOUR HAND HAVE +2/+2 AND LIFESTEAL." lmao?

So, 3 random legendaries for 9 mana. If you shadowstep it, you can then get an additional 4 legendaries for 10 mana the following turn.
Resources for days! Shame it is so slow. Still, at worst its a 3 mana 2/2 draw a card.
It may not end up being super competitive unless the meta becomes very slow, but it sure will be fun.
Will the card mantain its cost when Sonya Shadow Dancer tranforms it in a 1 mana card? It would be really OP

Brann Bronzebeard + This and an empty hand.... Sounds pretty epic
>>C-C-Combo!>Unstable Evolution FRENZY (Tavern Brawl)A fun card, but fun in a good way, not like Lilian Voss. I like fun cards.
Edwin Vancleef, Plague Scientist, SI:7 Agent and Sonya Shadowdancer. Face collector its much worse than all.
I didn't say it's game breaking.

To what point giving us Epic cards instead of legendary ,would make this card better or worst?
Unlikely, if echo cards stay in the 3+cost the odds of that are low, and quest rogue completing the quest by turn 10 aint that good
