I mean its a little bit less powerful with the nerf and its not nearly as reliant on high roll cards as everyone likes to say, you can draw both mind controls and amber before turn 6 but every deck can brick like this. Maybe everyone calls it high roll because of the variance of minions you can get from spiteful but its really all the same weather or not you get yog or nzoth the point is you get an additional large body the deck would still be good if it summoned a 12 or 16 worth of stats every single time. Drakonid OP is slightly reliant on getting good cards but nearly every meta deck has a way to discover a good card i.e primordial glyph and Stonehill protector.
I guess people just like to hate a popular decks. Because this isn't a high roll deck its a deck with an element of rng that helps out a bit but doesn't make / break the deck.
Because it is a piece of shit deck. A 6 mana epic 4/4 that puts a 10 mana minion on the board. It's mana cheating, just like Cubelock.
I've been a Priest player since Naxx but this is just embarrassing. I hope next expansion gives Priest powerful but reasonable cards. I don't want or need all these stupid mirror matches.
And because of this you have to sacrifice your decks constancy by including only two board clears that are conditional this deck gets shat on by murlock pally because of this fact, this deck for me personally is pretty fun to play against there is plenty of stuff to interact with and while limited there are ways to play around / counter this deck.
(I forgot to quote oops)

What an intelligent response you have perfectly illustrated why this deck is so hated I'm glad you used your limited time on this planet to vomit up this statment.
Spiteful summoner, the only card that you can get a 16/16 worth of stats and untargetable (spiteful + tyrantus) for 6 mana lol. That is OP! Lol. Combo it with dragons to control the board early and its basically good game. I do lov playing the deck but, also hate playing vs it. There are ways to stop it but u need lucky, skill and the right draws to pull it off.
Duskbreaker, Drakonite Operative, Amber and Mind Control are all OP. Especially in combo with cards like Spiteful Summoner and the 4/7 (forgot its name) spellcaster.

it's in the name, dude
Because it's a retarded deck and all players that play it are also retarded. So it's annoying to face it
I think the reason is just players are fed up with priest already. Dragon, Raza, combo and finally this...
Well, you already have some answers to your question, but, why do you ask?

Uh i don't really know, maybe because you play 16 mana on turn 6
Cheating out value and/or cards is... Cheating.
Legal cheating, but it does not feel more fair

Uh... it gets hate b/c its fun and it gets wins... no-one hates decks that lose all the time.
The only problem is in my opinion RNG and some abilitys that can randomly just win the game (like spell imunity from tyrantus).
I think just summoning a vanilla golem with stats equal to the mana cost of the spell would have been a way better design and lessen RNG fiesta.
why does every card needs to be random when community hates random stuff?!
