Great turn 2 tempo play for Shaman, particularly with Jade Claws rotating out. Unfortunately condition means you can't run Bloodlust, so we'll have to see what else the class gets as a win condition.
Stats are good, but deal 2 damage is not quite strong enough to justify a spot in a deck, perhaps if a "can't be targeted by spells or hero powers" meta will ever rise this card would be very strong
Slightly worse always active in mechanic deck valet seems pretty good. However the difference between 3 damage and 2 damage is significant even on turn 2.
I'm not sure how am even shaman would work as of right now. So let's hope more reveals will support it.
Also in deck not starting deck. Can float some odds potentially.
I guess it gives you a guaranteed turn 1 minion without having to dilute your deck with 1 drops, but I don't know how valuable that is. Lots more to be revealed, though.

I don't know if this card or the deck will be good, but I do know that what you've said here is incorrect.
If the opponent plays "the Darkness" and we have candles in our deck, this Battlecry doesn't activate right? As the words are not "in initial deck" I wouldn't be surprised if we will have more options to put cards on opponents deck.

Uh, deal 2 damage is game breaking on turn 2. The issue is that Shaman can't abuse its hero power all that well with only even cards.
This card is off the charts good. Passes the vanilla test. "Drawback"/condition is negligible because it's always active (as in, you only include this card in Even decks). Beast synergy is only a good thing. And Shaman has combo potential with Murmuring Elemental.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
For Shaman the risk of it being stolen by a Hunter running a Sylvanas and then being used to activate their beast synergies is bigger than the potential advantage so I'd say the tag is a downside if anything. Unless you play Skelesaur Hex.
All these card reveals don't even excite me until I see something that could really shut warlock down. I was just laughing at the whole reveal video thinking about how a stupid wolfrider is going to deal with cheated out voidlords left and right

what
Dealing 2 damage on turn 2 as a tempo play far outweighs the risk of hunter stealing a 2/2 just for beast synergy on turn 7.

Obviously a good card in a greymane deck, question is which tier a greymane shaman deck will be but lets asume that Greymane is more controlish and baku is more aggressive this would be some kind of control shaman, with hex and stuff but i think that needs a lot to reach top tier but a staple in those decks for sure, so my guess is will see experimenting for sure, may reach tier3 or smth so rating for now is:
3 Star card.

Don't mind me just passing by
META CHANGING!
I'm going to need to see more hero power synergy. In a vacuum, this card is excellent, but I'm still not sold on Genn decks. In particular in Shaman.
This looks interesting, think that the even/odd deck types can be really interesting if we keep seeing cards like this

This card proves medivhs valet was a mistake
Protecting those early totems is key.
