Interesting that you can't use priest Death Knight in there odd deck(unless you use thought steal or similar), while you are allowed to use corresponding cards it in the druid and mage version-
keleseth was quite MEH before the KOFT nerfs.. those decks didn't do well against druid, or against pirate warrior, and also against murloc paladin.
Think this card costs too much for being a combo piece, it's probably more of a board control card.. but.. I dunno you need to have a good board, and with no even costed minions how are you even gonna play "zoo priest" maybe it goes more to the traditional Injured Blademaster deck.. you can't use Circle of Healing in that deck though.
So unless they print something broken for "odd priest" I don't see this card seeing play.
That's a winmore card. It's really powerful but requires you to have an already strong board. And it's a zoo-ish card... in priest... that doesn't run any even cost... which means no duskbreaker to get the board on 4.
Best comparaison would be Sunborne Val'kyr: 1 less attack, but affect your whole board and doubles instead of +2 (which means it's even in effect if you have 2 minions with 2 health, it's better if you have more minions or if they have more health).
I think the card is worse than what it looks. I'm not sure it will be played even in a playable "odd priest".
But who knows, maybe odd priest will be so powerful it will be able to make minions out of thin air on turn 4 and then play this, and with his heal 4 hero power he'll make sure he'll never lose the board ever again outside of board clear. But I don't see it.
So far, this is the only card from the whole Odd-only or Even-only type of cards, that has a potential to be really strong, even doubling the health of 2 midrange minions is really good, not to mention what will happen if the priest has 3+ minion or some late game bombs.
Could be good if priest ever gets the ability to get an early board but that seems unlikely especially in an ''odd deck''. You guys are all wayyyy too hyped
I think this card is clearly a "win condition" card that you almost certainly don't play on 5. With the odd requirement, you either need a 1-drop and 3-drop (or somehow and some reason, four 1-drops) on turn 4, or t3 Gilded Gargoyle into this, but doubling the health of those minions doesn't really serve a purpose.
I still think this is a strong combo card, and merely the threat of it in hand means (much like current divine spirit/inner fire) any reasonably high health minion will need to be considered a threat.

Shudderwock means driving a clown car in circles around your opponent while he swings his sword at you. Half the time he chops you and your car to pieces. The other half you park on his legs and 40 clowns come out one by one, trampling him to death.
Thinking this might be a one of in an Inner fire deck just as an initial thought.
Not gonna work, Even cost cards include Divine Spirit, Shadow Visions, Twilight Drake, Radiant Elemental, etc. Inner Fire isn't good enough to play then.

Inner Fire is good in any deck that can buff a minion's health, because a card like Moth gets twice as good with each point of health buffed.

Then why isn't it seen in any deck that doesn't otk with it? Inner Fire has never been a good card. Silence and cards like Siphon Soul counter it too much. That is why even in most Inner Fire decks at the top level only run a single Inner Fire, it is so bad to draw or to have stuck in a hand. Plus you need to have minions on board for Moth and the best cards for that are either 4 mana cards like Twilight Drake, or rotating cards like Kabal Talonpriest. Trust me on the Inner Fire value though. I have tried for years to play a non-otk version of a deck centered on making larger minions and it never worked. Plus in that deck you describe you would only have this card and Power Word Shield buffing the health of minions. That would be it. There isn't enough odd costed support or that to work yet.

Hm, you're right. Odd cost cards that buff health don't exist yet, but hopefully these cards will be released one day:
The Beast Tag means almost nothing in Priest. That said since 4/4 is about 3.5 mana and one divine spirit is 2 mana. If you have a couple of minions on board this is kinda worth it for the effect tempo wise... It's just the problem is since it's only odd cards you can't have divine spirit itself so you can't cheat out more divine spirit affects this way. Also you can't necessarily have shadow visions to get the consistency of having the spells you want.
Really good tempo and can cement your board presence. It's just not going to do any more than that.
In before all your minions are gone before turn 5 , I think the regular divine spirit inner fire combo is better , you have healthy minions at the beginning and your are not restricted !I think people are hyping this odd and even cards system too much , we only saw 10cards out of 135 lol
you likely will play this as a combo enabler, not as a turn 5 play, especially since - as I mentioned earlier - the odd requirement means you probably aren't dropping a minion on turn 4; you'd need a 1-drop + 3-drop or four 1-drops (or, two 1-drops + hero power).

Well how are you going to deal with cubelock? You can’t silence taunts with this deck type as far I‘m aware.
you're right, close it up, hearthstone is dead and this is the worst expansion they've ever released.
MODS PLEASE LOCK THIS THREAD.

I HAVE ONLY SEEN A COUPLE OF CARDS AND I CAN SAY WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY THIS CARD IS TRASH AND WILL BE UNINSTALLING HEARTHSTONE BECAUSE OF HOW BAD THIS SINGLE CARD IS

Ehh.. obviously doesn't work in combo priest. Maybe some zoo-y deck? I don't see it
Fuck cubelock
I'm not suggesting these cards are insanely strong....I'm just pointing out that these already exist, in addition to this and PWS.
