I don't believe in this card and it DOES NOT have nearly the power level of Azure Drake. Last is a unconditional "draw a card" 5 mana 4/4 with spell damage. Too much in 1 package. This card has the same, only for less mana. But the issue is the condition. I think that the odd/even mechanic is so bad that you don't
The odd/even mechanic does feature around hero-power, and hero-power is simply bad. We already had a mechanic that worked around hero-power, it was known as inspire. Didn't worked out at all (ok, the cards didn't had enough stats). Still compared to odd/even, inspire still seems stronger and unplayable.
What actually makes this card playable is simply one thing: spelldamage. Mage now has more and more spell damage available; in wild this might sometimes be quite useful.
Master of Ceremonies seems more and more like a sleeper-card, maybe not useful right now, but the potential is here.
Is this a joke lol: Thalnos is a 2 mana 1/1, and u can only have 1 copy of it.
The cat is not legendary so u can have 2 of them, it has better stats (3 mana 3/3) and it has a battlecry instead of an deathrattle (which is arguably always better)
Haha! And what spell you want to boost? Fireball? Frosbolt? Oh, wait....
I really wish these cards read "...If your deck has only Odd-cost or Even-cost cards..." so these can be used in both archetypes
You forgot the Kappa!
..... 3 mana 3/3: If your deck only has even cost cards..... :)
I must say, I don't get it!
Uhhhm , i hope you are not trolling and make me look like a dummy , but those cards that support " only odd cost cards“ are odd themselves ( or even if they support a only even deck) . So , unless the mana cost changes with the text this wouldn’t work. ( unless you plan to always draw both cats in your "even cost-deck" starting hand).

I never felt so silly - ever - on this forum. I'm not even kidding you, didn't even think about it. Here's a bunch of Kappa to make up for it

never , you don't need a vanilla minion with only stats.
So no blizzard, frostbolt, fireball, polymorph, water elemental, iceblock to hof, and firelands is rotating? This better get a massive amount of support if blizz wants odd mage to be a thing.
The card pool might be too small after the rotation to make a proper deck. But if the deck is already on the brink of being viable, it might be an issue at the end of the year, since it will become stronger with every expansion,The same as with the Reno decks which also became better and better as the card pool grew.
Can you imagine any mage deck without any of those basic cards? Really? Are you aware that it's impossible that Blizzard can provide us (at least for the Witchwood expansion) enough alternative cards to replace all those basic cards and thus make Black Cat can truly be comparable with Azure Drake??
This card is a huge resemblance to Azure Drake ,but only for mage and requires to cut out even cost cards. First glance, in my opinion, it's a great card and in certain decks, it may work. However, the draw back is you can't play even cards. This means no Fireballs, Frostbolt, meteor, polymorph, doomsayer, and many great cards that mage runs. However, some of the universal cards become slightly stronger in trading Black Cat itself(volcanic potion and dragon's fury are the few that comes to mind). A 3/3 body for 3 is fine and if you don't have the requirement, then it's not strong and can play everything else. Maybe in certain decks that can rise up, we might see a playable odd deck for mage.

In Wild x2 this + x2 Azure + The Curator and you have all draw you needed, I will try.
Oh, wait....

Np :) happens to everyone once in a while.
Just a worse Azure Drake
Stay hydrated
People who have voted 'Very Good' or even 'Meta-defining!' are just trolling, aren't they?

So after all this time they finally reprinted azure drake, but for 3 mana
Why the hell everybody here is comparing this stupid cat with the mighty Azure Drake or even saying that Black Cat will be playable at all?
Are you aware that with this "new Azure Drake" as you say, you can't use any of the most necessary and basic cards for any mage deck such as: Polymorph, Frostbolt, Fireball, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Primordial Glyph, Water Elemental, Blizzard, Meteor or Pyroblast!!

Why would an odd mage deck run spell damage if literally all of the class's burn is even....?
Death to Aggro!

To play some card draws, obviously :) And Firelands Portal in WILD, lul.
