What are you guys talking about? Better than Azure Drake No way. First of all, the Spell Damage and card draw on Drake is 100% guaranteed while on the cat, it's only a draw if you compromise your deck. Even if they add some good odd-cost cards, you're still compromising. Secondly, a 4/4 is MUCH better than a 3/3. There are so many cards that deal 3 damage and have 3 attack. 4 health is actually a lot better and can stay a turn longer than a 3/3 usually. Also priest can't hit Drake but could take out the cat with a single Shadow Word: Pain spell.

A 4/4 for 5 mana is not better than a 3/3 for 3 mana. You can do a lot with the extra 2 mana, such as removing the opponent's 3-attack minion so your Cat can survive, which is a lot easier since you have Fireblast Rank 2 now.

Hey apes, to all of you saying "wow this card is good if the odd only decks work", how good do you think a deck is with only half of its possible value/power? Sure this card is good alone but no way is it gonna make up for all of the possible even cost cards that could have been included. :)
um hey buddy it got removed because it was played in literally any deck, this cat only becomes a good card if you use it in the odd only deck which prohibits the use of about 60 percent of mages best spells. I'm glad you tried to share your opinion but try again. :)
Why would an odd mage deck run spell damage if literally all of the class's burn is even....?
Yeah, I would say that is the big issue with this deck unless they print some decent odd burn spells, or it's not really a burn deck and the spell damage is mostly incidentle. However a 3/3 that draws a card every single time is actually decent. Given that an early 2 damage mage ping is super powerful (which it is, way more than many suppose from justicar where 2 damage ping on turn 7 is just too late. ) it may end up being mostly a minion based deck... perhaps elemental

1) Who are you trying to reply to?
2) Mage has great odd spells, just not great burn.
3) Just about every deck that needed draw played Azure Drake and it was rarely if ever used specifically for the spell damage effect. At one point I even saw a few copies in Paladin combo decks. This is a powerful effect, which is all that was likely meant.
As of now I think Odd Mage has the best chance of actually becoming a deck as mage has a large amount of viable odd costed cards elementals and even has Frost Lich Jaina which covers something most of these odd/even decks are missing in a win condition. So if we have the win condition in Jania then we just need to find a good core to survive until then and the mage hero power is quite good at helping with that. We have board clears like Dragon's Fury and Flamestrike. There's draw in Black Cat and Arcane Intellect. We even have a solid elemental core that we can use throughout the game. There still are some empty card slots that hopefully witchwood fills but so far the deck below is the best I've come to with an odd mage and it seems like a very solid core. If we get another good high cost spell that is odd then we could even run Dragoncaller Alanna as a secondary win condition.

The deck is bad because you have too few spells dragons fury can become a dead card. And also artificer is pointless. I would rather use baron geddon.
Well as I said previously this deck is not complete and actually has only 20 cards in it. These open slots are for witchwood cards that would fit in this decks and/or other cards I simply didn’t include as they weren’t the best. An example would be something you mentioned like Baron Geddon or some tech card like Harrison Jones.
On top of that, Dragons Fury is only average with a few other spells but I’m assuming mage is getting a big odd coated spell which improves dragons fury to wager a spot in the deck. Artificer sits in a similar slot of expecting to have another spell in the deck but has the upside of being an elemental that can help activate our elementals later on for only a single mana.

Oh sorry I didn’t notice the deck was not complete. Then as a base i think it’s ok. Though I don’t trust the elemental set so much. The play one turn before thing is so not flexible and draw dependent.

Azure drake comes to mind but the condition is a tough one in my opinion. No fireballs, no frostbol, no meteor, no primodial glyph, no blizzard..... Pretty high price for a pretty dam good card.

you are forgetting that the 2 dmaage png is a thing from Even decks, odd decks get the cost reduction in the Hp, not the upgrade...black cat was amde so that people experimented with odd mage and didn't isntantly flock to ven amge, but well...this is the first time i can honestly say that blizzard failed miserably at something because well spellpower in a deck with no damaging spells.

By the way you seem like didn't like the card because there is no target spell but this card provides perfect curve so it will be even better than azure drake in odd cost decks. If they ever release an odd cost target spell control mage will be so strong.
I noticed that these ODD or EVEN only cards are beasts mostly so there may be some cards in the set that let you draw a random beast (druid or hunter) that would make these guys possibilities (for fun anyway)

The man, the myth, the Legend.
(wait, I've only gotten rank 2, not legend)

Fun card, but I can't (for now at least) find a use for +1spell damage since most (if not every) mages damaging spell is even-costed
