I'm sure there are other people who are tired of facing these stupid, rng-dependent "unbeatable turn 6"-decks with their 4/4 + Tyrantus or Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound who might agree that something like this would be a welcome change?
I know introducing neutral spells is an unlikely change for a nerf, but it's hard to find a way to make this card anything remotely fair without making it do something completely different. With this change, having two of it in your deck means the first one played might reveal the second, thus giving you a random 6-mana minion for 6 mana – generally a bad play – balancing out the insane value of the high rolls on 8 and 10 mana. Also, getting rid of the 4/4 body reins in the power of the card a bit.
I'd love to hear others' opinions or alternative suggestions for how to put this card at a more reasonable power level.
Spiteful Summoner is certainly a pain to deal with most times, but it's far from broken. In order to get Spiteful to work well you must only have high cost spells -- priest probably does this best. Druid does it well with Ultimate Infestation but if you draw both of those into your hand before you play Spiteful Summoner they're useless. Giving up spells in your deck in most cases is tough to do as well. Warrior class is a perfect example of a class that really only has low cost spells for it's good spells. Priest is in the most unique situation, but again not broken.
Well Y'Shaarj is rotating out soon and I doubt the new expansion will have many 10 cost minions (basically leaving Deathwing, Sea Giant, Tyrantus and Ultrasaur). The classic Blizz response will be to make it 7 mana instead of 6 lol. But I don't think the winrate is high enough to do even that.
I'm not saying the card is inherently broken, but it's very easy to do broken things with it, and the scenarios it creates are just ridiculous.
Tyrantus + 4/4 on turn 6 not broken? :/
I'm aware that not all classes can use the card, but losing because your opponent high rolled a huge 10 mana minion is just shit. Same as Barnes Y'Shaarj hunter, it's all luck 0 skill. For me personally, if I wanted to play a game that was just purely a test of luck, I'd flip coins.

Would you really?
I would much more prefer Hearthstone because I find it more entertaining than flipping coins.
Hearthstone had been very RNG-dependent since Closed BETA. Nothing has changed. However the smart man knows that luck and bad luck is negated over a long period of time by the law of average. This means you should only care about luck if your life depends on you winning that next game. Other than that you will be just as lucky as everyone else in the long run.
I think a fair way to nerf it would be if the battlecry was dependant om how many spells you have in the deck, for example you need to have at least 6-8 spells or something like that, that way they either have to play good small spells or just clunky big spells just to get good pulls from the spiteful chick, the thing is that it's really hard to change this card without making it completely different and give a different and less powerful effect.

Hearthstone IS more entertaining than flipping coins, as long as skill is more important than luck. If every game is decided by who draws their broken shit first, or who gets better RNG outcomes, it's basically the same as flipping coins. I just think way too many players lately depend on bad decks with cheesy high roll win conditions. I'm looking at you, Barnes and Keleseth.
And yes, I'm aware that RNG is integral to card games, I'm not saying get rid of it completely. I'm just saying there should be some limits to its influence.

Personally I don't think it needs to be nerfed.

The best nerf for the card is to get rid of n'zoth, Yogg, and C'thun in standard so that it can't low roll anymore.
