Expansions don't need new keywords to be successful. The need fun cards that allow for new deckbuilding strategies, which this expansion already has 2 of.

^ This. I think both mechanics are very good for the game. One offers value generation all by itself with each card that has the mechanic and the other is a much more appropriate way to handle most future charge-esque cards without just nerfing the old nerf cards into the dust. Plus, who doesn't want to see what choices need to be made with a charge minion that doesn't just always automatically go face anyway?
I'm reminded of the WoW players who would say that the new expansions always needed new races or new classes in order to be enjoyable.
