 Maybe but it's a little different since you don't have to depend on drawing justicar... You can build the deck around relying on the more powerful hero power... The main example that comes to mind is being able to totem the totems you want... mostly taunt and spell.

 Agree, maybe even the quest... lots of 1 drops, a 3 damage hero face power... what could be better in an aggressive deck? nah, probably not the quest, but you could definitely build a very aggro hunter deck with this.

Hunter needs to play on curve - You usually want something like Dire Mole --> Crackling Razormaw --> Bow / Companion / Bearshark --> Houndmaster. 
Your strategy is to contest board in first turns, deal big amount of damage to your opponent's face and then finish him with Bow / Spells / Hero power. And contesting board without good curve plays is really hard, almost impossible.

 You don't need to play Curve if you can deck them in the face for 3 damage every turn. You could, in theory kill any deck without healing in just 10 turns just by pressing Hero Power.

Turn 1- one drop

turn 2 Hero power

turn 3 any 3-drop

turn-4 any 3-drop or just Hero power

and so on and so forth. People seem to forget how old Facehunter literally did nothing other than just slam into face and hope you won't survive long enough to turn the game around. Curve didn't matter back then, only face damage. You don't need to contest the board if you just kill them.

 

Could be really good in Face Hunter. You can stack your deck with tons of 1 and 3 drops so that you always get a good curve. Then in the mid and late turns you can ping your opponent for 3 damage every turn to finish out the game. You can still run all of the best Hunter cards, Animal Companion, Bow, Kill Command, etc.

Also probably good in Control Mage. You get to use your upgrade hero power to remove your opponent's threats. You can still run secrets and the best board clears like Dragon's Fury and Flamestrike along with Fireland's Portal.

Could be good?

Love these 2 cards. I'm glad that Blizzard led with these 2 in the announcement.  As a wild player, they have huge ramifications.  Many new archetypes will come from these 2 and hopefully challenge the top tier decks in wild.  Almost every inspire minion just got a slight buff.  Fun times ahead!

good to see that we're already writing this card off as unplayable having seen only 5 other cards in the set. 

This card seems to be highly polarizing.. people either think its going to be amazing.. or its just awful..

Firstly.. we haven't seen the entire set.. There could be some other cards that support this, and make it completely viable.  I remember when people talked about how bad prince keleseth would be.. and the idea of a hunter deck with zero minions.. not that you see keleseth too often anymore.. and spell hunter isnt god tier or anything.. they are both viable.

I'm going to say, wait and see.. I'm inclined to say it will make for some interesting decks, but at the end of the day won't be meta.. but you never know.. to say its going to be bad is just straight up premature.

well, even if it doesnt find its home this expansion, sometime in the next two years its bound to be oppressive, probably in control warrior, hunter, or maybe some weird shaman deck. 

Just luck at reno and keleseth; people originally thought 'no way this will work', and both of these cards proved themselves extremely strong. 

For classes that used to run justicar, this will probably be worked in.  

also, even though warrior is losing a lot if they try to play this card, it does make reckless flurry infinitely better because a flamestrike on T5 is always strong.  

I think this card is going to be incredible and should make deck building even more fun. Maybe could be included in some kind of Druid deck? Hero power seems strong

I can see this card may only viable using hunter. Since the hp is good enough to compensate the restriction.
