This might be usable in Quest Warrior and Quest Priest. Both Warrior and Priest get very good sustain from this card, many core quest-enablers are odd-costed. Shadow Word: Death, Psychic Scream, Shield Slam, Reckless Flurry and Brawl are all odd-costed. Many good taunts cost 3 or 5. As for pure Control Warrior, it would need an Execute replacement. If it gets an odd-costed single-target removal, this might be used there.
Perhaps, it may even be used in an Aggro Hunter with mostly 1 and 3-costed cards, since it can play two 1-drops on turn 2 and start hero-powering from turn 4 onwards. 3 unavoidable damage a turn will be pretty oppressive. Kill Command, Deadly Shot, Hunter's Mark, Ironbeak Owl and all the bows are still available to the deck. I think it may get away with having only Leeroy and this costing more than 3 mana.
For now I rate this 3 stars, has potentional, and hopefully a great card (would be a shame to waste that card art on a bad card, and the effect's certainly unique enough to justify using that card art), however I do think strong odd costed cards will rise and make this a potentionally strong card, maybe even too strong
The Mage DK hero power still deal 1 dmg only, just saying. And a control mage deck without the Joust raven, doomsayers, polymorph, blizzard, meotor after losing iceblock, fireland portal and Medivh aswell? I dont think it will work
I was not around to witness the Justicar era, so I can't really tell, but the upgrade for warlock doesn't seem too useful to me. They have plenty of heal to cover up for the lives they pay to draw cards.
Obviously this card for CW so they want the archtype back they will print OP card to support it, thats what they did to Priest and Warlock. Now the deck need strong 1 mana minion, 5 mana cards and 7 mana cards. We have a lot of 3 drop already. 5 mana we have Brawl and Elise, need a strong midgame weapon . 7 drop is very lacking, only Gorehowl atm. Geddon can be tech vs Paladin though.Prefer a Dr.Boom power level drop here. 9 drop is this card, Ysera, and Master Oakheart can be nice. Maybe need another strong end game legendary here.

You are right, no one used this card for warlock in the past, even when warlock at that time had much worse healing than they have atm
I think this will likely have a control warrior deck built around it. How playable will depend on a lot of factors we don't know yet (other cards and the meta that develops). I also think this has potential in both Warlock (only real loss for a control lock is the hero, so if you get another strong end game option to replace him..) and Shaman. I know neither used justicar, but starting the game with the upgrade guaranteed allows a lot of options that weren't viable with justicar because you couldn't build the deck around hoping to draw her. Shaman picking totem type everytime has the potential to be abusive if it gets the right odd cost cards to work with. And warlock not needing to dedicate cards to healing to offset the hero power frees up a lot of options for either tech cards or a whole new idea as to how to construct them. I expect 1 of these 3 classes will get a tier 2 deck built around this card which is pretty solid.
Wow. The fact that this isnt a battle cry but simply just works at the start of the game makes this card better than Justicar. I feel like every single class could play this now. You can consider it a dead 9 drop you will likely never play but the have the better hero power is just boken. On top of that if/when you decide to play the card its a far better body than her for the mana cost.
Not sure how this will work with DKs. I assume the DK will override this one when its played. I doubt you get both stacked. But even if that is the case I could still see control decks have both. Mage gets to control the board and ping for 2 and then play Jania later to get life gain with 1 damage pings. I can see this card even being good in zoo or aggressive hunter. Control warrior is back.
Obviously a lot will depend on those decks only using odd valued cards. But after seeing how good reno, or prince are i have stopped assuming that will be a large hindrance. People will find ways to make this work well.

Warlock ? So you decided to drop Doomsayer, Defile , Hellfire, Spellstone,Siphon sould, Twisting Neither, and the DK just for a free 2 mana draw?? Good luck with that mate.
And Shaman ? Thats mean no HEX which is HUGE. Also, the new OP Shaman only hero cards is 8 mana too, make no sense you drop these two vital cards just for summoning a totem of your choice, come on.
Druid? The DK hero power is just better, no contest here.
Paladin Justicar hero power is very good. But all of your strongest cards in even, I dont know how you make a Paladin deck with only odd cards.
This card is for CW only, it IS LIKE Justicar is considered Warrior class card now
Just gonna say it, in case no one else did (I didn't read the entire thread). Beast hunter could make a deck to use this card. Depending on new reveals, this could be pretty amazing for hunter (since the upgraded hunter HP is really strong ... same as mage).

Who need draw in face hunter when you have acess to uncounterable 3 damage every turn, the only real downside is the legendary will be a dead draw in this deck, you always praying for RNGesus to never draw him. :P

Taunt WArrior is not control warrior. Expect team5 print better wincon for the deck

This card is good. It will see tons of play.
but you can't play Moorabi with it!! Garbage!!!
All Garrosh's legendaries cost 8.
in Paladin, you cannot play Tirion Fordring
in hunter, you cannot play Savannah Highmane
in warlock, you cannot play bloodreaver gul'dan
in mage, you cannot play Fireball
in rogue, you cannot play Prince Keleseth
in shaman, you cannot play Moorabi ( ok I'm joking)
in druid, you cannot play Ultimate Infestation.
could be Baku the Mooneater [/card] create a new meta or will do the same end of [card] lilian voss ?
I can see this being used in either hunter or priest. Losing executes is way too punishing for cw
