Sigh, they are back with the face damage warrior ideas, looks like warrior won't be good this xpac either
The entire point of the Rush mechanic is for board control creatures that can't go face. This is not an aggro card, this is a mid-range or control card.
If your opponents are running tar creepers this can be a pretty good face tool. Gets rid of the taunt without using any other current turn damage or losing a minion.
Warrior doesn’t have a lot of great answers for a five health taunt. Arcanite Reaper isn’t popular and is a full turn later. Everything else requires at least two minions, spells, and/or weapons strikes to clear it off.
And this likely leaves a body on the board to go face next turn.
It isn’t really a face card, but in the right meta it could be great in a face deck.

While true, the point of the comment was to help the original commenter understand how the card actually works.
That card sinergysis really really well with Frothing Beserker. What make me think about a tempo warrior, but that needs more cards. On curve, that a awesome response to tar creeper, a really common minion on these days. As a response to a turn 4, i gotta agree, its not that great. What do we got on turn 4 right now? Twilight drake, mountain giant, call to arms... Not a great response to these guys.... Anyway, doing 5 damage is a pretty big deal. At turn 4, i don't think there is many cards that deals 5 damage, ands cause of that, that i think this is a really good card. Even when just leaves a 2/1 body behind.
explain to us what Card on turn 4 trades with this when you play it as a 5/5 with charge
Apparently, you don't understand how comparisons work. Also, the attack reverts to 2 on your opponent's turn, which means you're probably leaving a 2/1 body behind on the board.
The closest card to this is bomb squad. Actually unplayable on constructed, but this is 1 mana cheaper, and has no big drawback... The cards that deals that much damage, are always more expensive. Firelands, the 7 mana fire elemental, bombsquad..... Deal 5 damage its a pretty big deal. Thats the most important reason to this card be very good. For 4 mana, there is no better answer in one card to tar creeper
Sorry cant agree with some of you on here it is a battering ram for 5/5 it will remove the turn it is used it then has an added advantage whatever is left in health stays on the board and your opponent has to either ignore it and you can then boost it for an attack or they have to waist a card to get rid of it again giving you an added advantage
Interesting card. Is enrage not part of the warrior class identity anymore though? Are these type of 'on your/your opponent's turn' replacing enrage completely? If so can we please get rid of the enrage daily quest? It is one of the more cumbersome quests.

The mechanic isnt supported by team5. Actually they pushed enrage these previous expansions but didnt print any playable new enrage minion. The best enrage minion Warrior have still Grommash whom hopelessly outdated. Thats why Warrior really sunk to bottom tier at the moment. So I am really glad they are beginning to move away from that shit
Really good in Arena, like Bomb Squad for one less mana and without that annoying Deathrattle. Even in Constructed it could be a good tempo play, but quite unreliable as a card to be played on curve. It could have a place in the right deck.
Ok this is actually better than Tar Creeper I think because it actually will remove minions instead of just getting silenced or eaten by spells. Auto include 2x in Control Warrior, if that's a thing, I think.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
100% playable in control warrior IF control warrior is a thing .
Killing a minion and getting a leftover is valuable . With the remaining body you can win an upcoming Brawl. You can also trade with it alongside a weapon or a slam or trigger Execute .
pretty good for arena and I think will be ok on ladder aswell, like others have said it's a great tar creeper killer, i've seen some people don't like this card but I think it's a pretty solid card in all honesty.
