Am I the only one who thinks Divine Spirit should be considered for the Hall of Fame? I think Inner Fire is less of an issue because it still has interesting use, but Divine Spirit has always been the insane part of the combo.
For 5 mana, Paladin can double a minion's Attack. For the same Cost, Priest can QUADRUPLE a minion's Health and convert it into Attack. Yes, the combo requires 2 more cards but this is easy enough when Blizzard supports it with new tools for 4 expansions in a row.
You might also say, only so many cards can be moved each year to the Hall of Fame. But that could easily be fixed by moving some select Wild cards into the Classic set as replacements.
What do you think, am I crazy or is 28+ damage on turn 2-3 a bit strong?
PS. I haven't been playing for the last week, this isn't some kind of reactionary post about my recent losses. I think the card has been an issue for a while since the days of Deathlord lethals on turn 4. The combo has only gotten stronger since Meanstreets.
