NOTE TO EVERYONE: if you already have normal copies of anything and are planning on disenchanting them and/or crafting golden copies of them "for profit", don't. Please read the post or at least look at the diagram. It clearly says that the correct thing to do for max dust gain if you already have both normal copies is to do nothing. It feels counter-intuitive but if you already have normal copies, dusting them and crafting goldens (or just crafting goldens on top of the normals) will not earn you any extra profit. The maths does work out. Only if you don't have one or both copies of a card will you profit more from crafting a golden than you will for crafting a normal.
There is, however, one thing you can gain from disenchanting normal to craft golden. If you have any normal copies of one of the cards, you can disenchant it, craft a golden, and as a net result you will not lose any dust (you will have the same amount of dust after HoF as you did before). This means if you want a free golden copy of any of the cards, then you can dust normal to craft golden. If all you care about is dust profit and you already have two normal copies, do nothing.
Edit: thats probably doesn't actually answer your question fully. If you look at the first post in this thread it makes it very clear.
Did they already distribute the Dust for the Hall of Fame cards with todays patch or can i still craft the ones that i don't own yet to get the dust on friday?
I didn’t get dust. And if rotation is on Friday, Friday it should be... I actually don’t exactly know when rotation will be. But refund is on rotation.
Edit: according to that, rotation is on the 12th. Should be Thursday then.
Hey guys, really sorry to bother you because going through the thread I realize this has been answered time and time again, but my brain is on such overdrive from work lately so in order not to mess up I need to have a very clear and simple answer (yes/no) to the one question I'll be asking.
I currently own the 3 rotating cards in regular, non-golden versions (except for 1 Molten Giant).
When they move to HoF, I will get refunded for the full value of my golden versions without DEing them (so basically I get my golden copies for free) and can then also DE my regular, non-golden copies to gain that dust, too.
By doing this, I forfeit some dust because instead of my regular copies being totally refunded (as would have been the case if I hadn't crafted the golden ones) I can now only DE them for their usual value, not getting their rotating to HoF value (which I would have gotten without DEing them).

Am I correct?
Thanks so much...
You only get dust from the ones you own. So it doesn't make sense to have 3 copies in total. You only profit from golden cards, if you do not own two regular ones.

Thanks a lot, both of you! (Thommygun02: I do own the regular versions, as I stated, but I totally understand it got lost somewhere in the middle of my long post)
Can't find any info on crafting Rag/Silvanas. I kinda want to craft them and try to finish LoE Heroic mode (the only adventure's card back i didnt earn so far). Are they refundable after new HoF rotation or is it just a waste of dust?

you will not get refunded. They were moved to HoF last year.

I can barely believe I got that right...
Oh how stupid of me. Must have misread. Enjoy the dust tomorrow! ^^
Can i know what to do when i dont have ice blocks or moltens?
If you have none of either, to get the most dust back you should craft 2 golden ice blocks and 2 golden molten giants. If you can't afford the dust for that get only two copies of each, but buy as many golden copies as you can. Epics refund more (proportionally) than rares, so if you can only get some golden, try to get as many golden epics as possible.
Am I too late to craft the Molten Giant? Since the pre-patch is already live and it's 20 mana, even though the expansion isn't live yet.
I'm fairly certain you can still craft the giant. We have a weird two-day window in which the molten giant "un-nerf" has been patched in, but the card is still in standard. It's unusual to have that overlap. However, the dust reimbursement is given when the card rotates to the Hall of Fame, not when it receives its un-nerf. Nobody's been reimbursed yet. HoF rotation happens when the expansion launches tomorrow, so I would have thought you'd still be fine.
Today when I logged into Hearthstone, (HoF not live, but Molten Giant reverse nerf is live) I received 3200 dust for two golden Molten Giants. But I also received an additional 1675 dust for a total of 4875 dust. I spent 7000 dust to craft goldens in anticipation of HoF (two golden Molten Giants, two golden Ice Block, and one golden Coldlight Oracle).
So why the odd amount of dust?
Theory #1:
The Molten Giant reverse nerf is live today, but HoF isn't yet. Maybe I received dust for both my two regular and two golden Molten Giants: 3200 + 1600. But that still leaves 875 dust unaccounted for.
Theory #2:
Weird glitch as Hearthstone transitions between Molten Giant reverse nerf and HoF announcement.
Theory #3:
The remaining 875 dust could be:
400 x 2 = 800 for two regular Ice Block
75 dust = ?? No idea, since it doesn't correspond with my Coldlight Oracles.
Theory #4:
???!?!?!
Anyone want to take a stab at it?
TL;DR:
I received 4875 dust when I spent 7000 dust to craft goldens for HoF. I hope I am getting the rest of the dust when HoF goes live.
Cards I own:
Two regular Ice Block and two golden Ice Block -- both goldens crafted in preparation for HoF
Two regular Coldlight Oracle and two golden Coldlight Oracle -- I crafted one golden in preparation for HoF (already owned one golden)
Two regular Molten Giant and two golden Molten Giant -- both goldens crafted in preparation for HoF

I am confused and I don’t get this. I own following cards, none in golden:
2 x ice block
1 x molten giant
1 x goldligt
I have 3200 dust. What do I do to get the most dust profit?
It depends what you already have. If you read my original comment guide you should be able to work it out for yourself:

No problem man. Lol I like how passive aggressive the guide sounds when you remove all but those bits
I just crafted two golden Molten Giants, and I hope I get the dust back in a few days!

I sit on a regular amount of dust so I decide to craft all the missing golden versions (1 Molten Giant, 2 Ice Blocks and 2 Coldlight Oracles).
When they move to HoF, I will get refunded for the full value of my golden versions without DEing them (so basically I get my golden copies for free) and can then also DE my regular, non-golden copies to gain that dust, too.
