We haven't seen a card being buffed directly yet. Therefore we have no DE precedent. Basically the card was (will be) changed and so meets the conditions for full DE value.
See? "modified" not "nerfed" or something like that
I'm a huge fan of this change. Giants themselves have proven to be a pretty large problem, as they often can create absolutely ridiculous swing turns. I think that's the reason Blizzard has been hesitant to make any more neutral ones, and why they nerfed the Molten Giant (and the corresponding classic handlock) to the ground. As someone who plays both wild and standard, I'm excited to see the Molten Giant shine again in a format that can support it, but more importantly, I'm excited about what this means for the future. Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first time that Blizzard has ever reverted a nerf. Who knows, we may get some of them more unplayable cards (like starving buzzard) back for the wild format.
I am actually super exited about this. I saw this same thing suggested a while ago (maybe on a reddit post) and I thought it was a great idea. I still do.
This means that handlock can come back and maybe be viable again. And anyway, its not like it will ever get as oppressive as the other control warlock archetypes are, so I really see no reason why it shouldn't exist.
And to all the people talking about naga decks; Although they are (very slightly) benefited, it doesnt affect the combo at all.
Pre Patch_6.2.0.15181,Murloc Warleader used to give +2/+1 to ALL murlocs in play. It could be seen as a buff when it was changed to just the owner's murlocs. Also of note, there was no dust award when it was changed this way, although later when the health bonus was removed and the card change was undeniably a nerf, it was eligible for dust award.
Its good full dust for rotating out and for being nerfed
???
They are not nerfed. They are buffed. There is no full DE-value for molten giants when they are moved to the HoF.
Moving to the Hall of Fame means that players who own the card(s) will get full crafting dust for them automatically. They get to keep the card and get the dust. As I pointed out in the main topic, it is beneficial to craft even the regular versions of the HoF cards as there is no net loss (you get the dust back) and you get essentially free cards.
I know that you get dust for teh rotation. I was unclear in my statement. I wanted to point out that you do not get full DE-Value when you actually disenchant the rotated cards.
This un-nerf is awesome. I'm really hoping they'll HoF force of Nature and un-nerf as well. Would be sweet getting to replay those good old druid days.
It wouldn't even be broken anymore with all these turn 5-6-7 kills in wild these days.
- If you already dusted your moltens (like me) when they were nerfed long ago, you already got 800 free dust (or 3200 if golden).
- If you craft them now, you will get 800 dust (or 3200 if crafted golden) when they enter HOF (so they are free to craft), AND extra 200 dust (800 if golden) for disenchanting them if you dont play wild.
- IF you play wild, you should know that they are KEY cards for all the giants deck, which are tier 1-2 in wild (in fact, they were the only cards i was missing for the deck).

Good example. Yeah, this will be the case probably. They'll let the card as it is at 20 mana without full DE value. On the other hand someone could say: "Hey, why did you nerf my one hit kill paladin? I spent everything to craft this deck. Now it sux!" and he'd be right. It depends on point of view..
Actually this is a good question.

Mimsy Were The Borogoves
2 years ago I'd been really happy about this, but as long as Naga Sea Witch remains as it is, this change is sadly a bit redundant.
Favorite Cards: Deathwing, Dragonlord, Ysera, Sindragosa, Chillmaw, Netherspite Historian, Kel'Thuzad, Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Lorewalker Cho, Neptulon, Duplicate & Echo of Medivh

But.. but... what about my Shotgun Paladin ?!?
This HOF move / un-nerf is the best to date.
Here are the benefits:
- If you already dusted your moltens (like me) when they were nerfed long ago, you already got 800 free dust (or 3200 if golden).

Thanks blizzard!
I expected this move. Hopefully, it means that other nerfed cards may move next year to HoF in their unnerfed versions as well (Starving Buzzard, Ancient of Lore, Force of Nature, Blade Flurry).
What are the rules on dust for card changes, because as far as I know you should get a full refund anytime they change a card's text.
Mimsy Were The Borogoves
That nerf to Holy Wrath paladin though.
perfect change fully support it, handlock can be experimented again in wild, prefer the card to be an option rather than be just dead.
how many golden molten giant should i craft? 1 or both?
i don't remember how the refund works.

As a Wild player, I feel that this change is gonna make a huge difference in Warlock decks. JUST LOOK AT Hooked Reaver.
5 mana 8/8, anyone?
So let's see. Priests heal (Shadowform), Warriors use armor against fatigue (Dead Man's Hand), Mages boost spells (Doomed Apprentice), Shamans are slow (Murloc Tidecaller), Rogues aren't scared (Sprint), Paladins use Silver Hand Recruits (Silver Hand Murloc), Hunters are balanced (King Krush), Warlocks sacrifice their health (Sacrificial Pact), and Druids use nature (Automized Bear Cub).
They should do this to Blade Flurry
