Next rotation priest loses like all of its good dragon support cards they'll have to print some reasonably high powered dragon synergy cards to keep priest afloat.
I didn't see someone mention, that it also damages it's own minions, add that you need another dragon.....not broken. Priest needed either better early minions or an early board clear.

(non garbage) Neutral/Priest dragons that will be here post-rotation:
Dragon Priest is going to be weaker for sure, but I don't think it's going away. The only dragon it's really losing is Drakonid Operative. Sure it loses Netherspite and the Twilight Acolyte + Potion of Madness OTK garbage, but Acolyte + Cabal Shadow Priest will still be available and I'm predicting right now a major part of a Dragon Control Priest deck.

It’s the Historian that will hit them the hardest imo. Getting that on turn 2 gives you a choice against what you’re facing, and also provides you with fuel for the dragon holding mechanic.
"Please nerf the only counter of my deck, it's unfair. There is too much dragon priest and I don't want to change deck. I should be Legend, facing ennemie without interaction but this stupid deck stop me at rank 15."
It's literally the counterpart to Call to Arms, that card also does way too much for its mana cost.
exactly. when Call to Arms possibly cheats the mana cost of Knife Juggler and Dire Wolf Alpha, plus it gives you Righteous Protector taunt + divine shield, plus it activates Knife Juggler's damage once or twice, you cannot complain about one conditional dragon card which, nonetheless, has to be in your hand to be played (unlike the minions from Call to Arms). you play around it and Git Gud™.
Like "I thought playing aggro guarantees a win on turn 5".
Stop crying please. There are plenty of aggro cards that are ridiculously strong but all aggro players complain about 1 card that can handle a full board on turn 3/4. And what happens after that evil duskbreaker-turn? Oh right: call to arms, divine favor etc.
3 Paladin decks are tier 1 atm. But yeah lets complain about cards that have a chance to at least threaten this supremancy.
I dont get why everybody is happy with Duskbreaker. Yes, its annoying to see to much aggro, but Duskbreaker is simply to much in one Card.
2 Dmg would be enough, basically even 1 dmg, but 3 dmg kills some "regular" non aggro 3-4 mana minions, too and give big advantage in games vs. decks that are not even that aggro.
The Card is broken.
broken.
And everybody saw it from the first announcement that this card will be a thing. But people like to win against aggro and Duskbreaker is Super-OP-Anti-Agrro-for-Idiots. Since most people prefer winning over balance they dont blame Duskbreaker.
Add to that that they gave it to priest, who has enough ways to deal with aggro due to -> healing obviously o.O
should have been a neutral card looking at the power level and the restriction of playing many dragons. This would add to creative deck building aswell.
^This! Cards like Duskbreaker force aggro players to not play dumb and overextend into board clears without having to think (something that I feel newer HS players either forget or never learned in the first place compared to those of us that learned back in vanilla by not overextending into a mage's Flamestrike).
3)call to arms was made 4 mana because warlock got voidlords on t 5/6 this is to allow aggro decks to get in 1 last attack. (the warlock mana cheat cards is both on 5 mana in standard ) and an attempt to help aggro against warlock.
4)now they needed an card to counter call of arms and that' Duskbreaker it comes down the turn after after call to arms. its also an nice counter to voidlord since it kills the 1/3 taunt walls and on t6 the turn voidlord comes out you can for 6 mana play shadow word pain and Duskbreaker to clear the warlocks board.
See the 3 card is interlinked.
Why would Blizz want to push any certain type of deck?
Lol, love how blind Blizzard fanboys comment this :D :D
This card IS incredibly OP - Compare it with Hellfire, Exploding Bloatbat, Abomination, Ravaging Ghoul. Still can't see how OP it is? No, the fact that you need to hold dragon is not making it less OP, Dragon priest almost always holds dragon ( Sherlock? )
It should be printed as neutral card, not only for priest. They already have a lot of tools how to deal with aggro.

Honorable Mentions (not quite garbage, not quite good enough to see real play)

Join me at Out of Cards!
Dibbity don't touch that!
Because Duskbreaker isn't broken.
because destroy aggro, nobody complain that
Complaining about the only card which keeps the most overpowered spell in check. Niiiiice

your fault for not expecting it mr. rank 25
Just tech in Dinosaur Egg it counters duskbreaker so hard imo.
