Void Lord is fine as an epic. The only cards that make it seem so powerful are Skull of the Man'ari and Possessed Lackey. At 9 he is fine. At 4/5 w/ coin or 6 however he is a wall like none other. As a Warlock player I can admit Skull and Lackey are very strong cards and I can see how they will be issues for years to come (since every time Blizzard wants to make a new Demon card they will have to go, "Hmm...but Skull and Lackey make this busted.").
So a 5 mana 2/2 is strong or 5 mana weapon with no attack is? The part you guys fail to grasp that if no demons in deck, Lackey becomes a really bad card, same with weapon, no demons in hand useless.
Voidlord needs other cards to be good. Same for Lackey and weapons. That is why it doesn't need a nerf.

EDIT: Hmm...I can't seem to find the "card" option in the formatting anymore so I made links. How odd...:\.
People need to look at both the upside and downside of cards.

Yes I totally agree this is what people doesn't understand you draw 4 demons from the deck and no Man'ari until turn 9 lackey totally turns into a useless minion or you draw man'ari but no demon or lackey.
Many times I had to use Bloodreaver guldan without playing any demons.
My mistake. I didn't realize that it was required to say why I was asking a pretty simple question. I guess it's more difficult to respond snarkily if I don't give a more detailed post to pick apart haha. You got it done though, good job.
I thought that it would be more reasonable if there was only one per deck considering how strong it is, and seems like the deathrattle is actually pretty unique to me. I agree with Internecia though that maybe the feeling of being overpowered comes from Lackey and the weapon.
Perhaps if it was 8 cost instead of 9 then it would be more likely to be legendary power. That seems like it would put is more in line with a card like Tirion Fordring.
Voidlord is a strong but balanced card on its own, it's also fine for its effect and stats to just be an Epic so you can have 2 in the deck. The issue actually are all the way to cheat it onto the board way before its 9 mana cost, that make it seems unfair/overpowered.
Cheating big minions into play too much before their right turn is something that is spreading in HS and imho it's not a good design choice, nor for Standard neither for Wild (in the long run).

Except Voidlord is a perfectly reasonable 9 Mana card, well costed for it's effect, it is nowhere near above the power level of other 9 Mana cards. By contrast, 5 Mana cards which easily allow players to cheat out 9 Mana Demons for 5 Mana, that is easily above the power level of other 5 Mana cards.
Keleseth is also pretty weak if you play him at like turn 10, when you already drew a great deal of your deck and the benefit from his effect is not that relevant. When you use his effect on turn 1 or 2, then that changes greatly, because his effect will HEAVILY impact the entire game as all the minions you draw suddenly are able to much more easily value trade and control the board compared to the opponent, since they were all upgraded +1/+1 on the average stats per Mana cost they would have.
People seems to be completely oblivious to how nefarious mana cheating effects and even early game power spike effects are to the game. The earlier in the game you are able to heavily influence the outcome of the game by cheating a lot of mana or making a huge change like increased minions stats for the rest of the game, the more harmful that is to the game as the opponent will always be at the point where he has the least possible answers to deal with it.
No one would have issues with Voidlord if it didn't come out on turn 5. You want to SMOrc the Warlock but they put a roadblock down on turn 5 that you can't get through. If that roadblock came down on turn 9, you had killed them before that.
It's funny, I remember all the times I played Demon Handlock back with Mal'Ganis and Voidcallers, and the ammount of Aggro decks I crushed with Malganis coming out like turn 5 was pretty high, and it was quite satisfactory, specially when you then could just park a wall of Molten Giants with Taunts in front. Good old days...
The funny thing is that druid has been cheating out larger mininons, early for years, via ramp. Now have minions to do the same too. But you never here this amount of whining, or for nerfs, Warlock is treated unfairly....lol.
There's nothing wrong with it being epic, it by it's self is balance. 2nd people see the advantage to cheat it out early. People don't see the risks of adding the cards that allow the cheating. 2/2 that can be silence, or a weapon that can be removed,..... Both that gives your opponent an almost free turn. Cards can become useless. By adding that high mana cards can give bad curve draws.
Like I said, upside and downside of the deck. The reason for it never being top deck. Vs stated that cubelock is 12th best deck., Zoo and discard don't use it.
So only good deck voidlord is in is control, and it's not an offensive type of deck. The deck is built around it, but defensively.
Not true Druid also have minions that can pull larger mininons early. Plus mana growth being able drop a 10 mana on probably earlier then turn 6, one can argue that is worst then cheating a 9 at 6. Plus they can follow a 10 mana every turn after.
I saw someone complaining a druid was at 10 mana by turn 3 or 4 and took picture to prove it, when. I called bs.

Should this be a legendary card? Seems like it should be.

Paladin boys wants to get rid of cubelock as soon as possible.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
