We’ve all been there: on the edge of crafting a single card or even multiple cards for a deck that’s been looking interesting to play based on meta prowess or just the pursuit of fun. The tipping point to pushing that “create” button gets a little more precarious after a couple drinks.
I’m curious: What cards/decks have you spent dust on under the influence?? A little drinking and decking.
I’ll go first: the “big” package. Big Y, Deathwing Twins, etc...
I have a rule never craft anything when I'm drunk and if I want to craft something I'm just closing Hearthstone and not playing it. There was too much silly crafts and decks I played 4-5 games after spending a lot of dust on them when drunk lol :D
Ill play...it was a while ago but it was Soggoth. Always liked and wanted the card and finally did it one day after a few beers. I dont use it as much as i want but no regrets. I just really like the card.
I'm considering drinking a lot and crafting Aviana, Malygos, and Kun the Forgotten King so I can start practicing with a wild Malygos Druid before the Wild Brawl next week.
Bonus DE story: I was a F2P player for many years having never played card games like this before. I picked up the game at release and worked my butt off to get my first legendary. It was Baron Geddon. But having no idea what I was doing, I tried to use him and just kept thinking "This guy sucks! He's just killing off my own shit!" So I DE'd him. I never really regretted it, but over time I realized the 400 dust probably wasn't worth it. And then DK Jaina was released with KotFT... and I still don't have Baron Reno! Could craft at this point but... I'll wait until he pops up again in a pack.
Once I had 1600 dust saved and really wanted to craft a specific legendary (can't recall which one atm) I was relaxing on the couch with my tablet and was just creating the legendaries to hear their opening lines, and the DE right after for the full dust. After I crafted Ragnaros, Lightlord I accidentally tapped outside the DE button so I simply stuck with it. It's not a bad card, but I nearly never play pala, so that's my worst crafting experience.
I played for two months and saved up enough dust to craft my first legendary. I really wanted Ysera because she seemed so big and powerful, but every single video and recommendation online said there's only one #1 and everyone knows that's Dr. Boom. I figured, well they know better than I do, so Dr. Boom it is. They announced Standard/Wild modes two days later.
The same happen to my friend. We pushed him to craft dr.boom (“you dont have dr.Boom? Its a must have card”) and couple days after they announced Wild. I think that was the day he stoped taking HS seriously and moved to play different mobile games...
I have never regret a craft, even when high or drunk I do manage my collection with respect!
In all honesty I do tend to craft fun cards in Golden and in some times I just need a little push with things like Golden Warlock Quest, right now I am between Golden GulDan or Golden Kingsbane, even a Golden King Crush just to smash it into my friends face.

Last year, I was drunk, so I bought 180 packs and crafted all Standard cards. Even the worst ones (including Millhouse and Cho).
Right now I am only missing some GvG cards.
I crafted Shaman Quest after Un'Goro release... Still don't know why
I crafted a full golden tempo rogue deck, got quite the refund though with patches, creepers and bonemares :)
I crafted Cho and E.T.C. back in time when i really wanted to make my own randuin deck (not being drunk, hehe).
Of the ones i kinda regret, crafted Mekgineer Thermaplugg after having a successful arena run with him and realized he is total crap in constructed.

I too got drunk and crafted this card last week, that's pretty funny.
soggoth was probably my worst craft. dont know why i wanted it so badly but i dont think i ever played it in anything aside from asteral decks.
Windshear Stormcaller
I crafted Nzoth and hunter DK because i liked one stream on twitch with deck including this... useless but fun
I got golden quest for warlock.
A normal human being ofc dust that, but not me, I crafted that mother zaza or something and that hot lady from koft to play quest warlock. Im stoopid.
The golden portal look awesome, btw.
Bolvar, Fireblood at release of KFT because the archetype looked cool even if it wasn't top tier.
Where shall I start...
Zero...I can count on 1 hand the number of drinks I have in a year (just don't like the taste of most alchohol).
