It is a good change. I had him during MSG but never played the popular highlander deck as it seemed boring. I was also lacking 2 legendaries and wasn't willing to sacrifice dust as I know(and now you do) what happens with popular high winrate decks.
Thank god. People will still play it because it's still really good with anduin without being absurd like it is currently. It's a well thought out nerf for once, unlike ones that just increase the mana cost by 1 or basically making it unplayable like the corridor creeper nerf.
The effect is still powerful enough in Wild because you use Spawn of Shadows to combo. The now lower damage output per turn might mean a rise slower decks such as Reno Mage/Warlock with Cube/Control Warlock taking the number top spots. Jade Druid becomes an even worse match up and aggro gets a bit better since you won't be able to weave in the 2 free heal every turn.
Inb4 I would have lived to face Raza 2 more months, as the next rotation is so close and Highlander wouldn't have been a pest in standard. But with this change, I salute the devs, the devs show, that they DO care about wild and try to make it a more balanced place. If you ask me, this is only the first step, as I think some synergies and cards (tunnel trogg) have to be tuned down a bit, but this is a good start. So gg.
Inb4 as much as I love playing warlock, I don't like the cheese with the Lackey. I really hope the devs implement demons either cheap or with good battlecry effects, so that those decks will correct themselves later on.
I have never understood the hate for rasa priest (RP). It’s powerful but not unbeatable. I play mostly wild and I love the deck and any combo deck. I love the chances to the other cards, but not raza. There are much you can do against RP. Play a lot of big minions, dirty rat and more. I’m concerned that warlock now will be god tier in both standard and wild, as they didn’t get hit at all.

For us Wild exclusive players, yes it is.
I like Raza Priest and have played it since KoFT came out. In Wild, with Spawn of Shadows it was ridiculous for being able to do deal 6 damage for every card you can play along side it. And even worse was the aspect that if you weren't able to burst them down that one turn, you can use Reno Jackson to jump back to 30 health.
Having the hero power set at 1 mana instead of 0 is a solid nerf to help slow down the burst potential while also not killing the deck all together.

This nerf is great. While I love the synergy with Shadowreaper Anduin, I found it really disheartening that people played it as their only win condition rather than as a value card. This ensures it still has synergy with the DK while turning off the ability to do complete bullshit burst wins with it.

I guess this is good...it only effects standart players for one season, so we could care less anyways, but wild surely needed this change to happen.

Lol@ the people saying this is playable. This destroys RazaAnduin pretty hard. It will take an extra two turns to kill someone with this change.
Never liked playing Highlander Priest anyway so I will definitely disenchant it.
