Today i played a game with my spritefull priest deck. In there is also Curious Glimmerroot. As it comes he also had Curious Glimmerroot and played it and got the card from it. Turn after he played the card produced and it was Northshire Clerc but i had no Northshire Clerc in my starting hand, so that is a flaw and i was astound.
Are there other people that had the same experiance ?
The card options for Glimmerroot can be even cards that were already played and r not in the opponents deck anymore. They just had to start there ;-) Thats why it is a lot "safer" to play Glimmerroot a bit later, so when you see one of the options being a card your opponent already played, u can be 100% sure that is the correct pick :)
I honestly thought this card only worked with what was in their deck at the time of playing it. Makes more sense now. I still find the card mildly useless though.

It can be very useful especially in ranked (where people play more powerful cards in general). If you know what cards/decks are popular and can determine the deck archetype of your opponent by turn three, this card can be incredibly powerful. Plus, sometimes it shows cards that they have already used making it amazingly good.
Same here lots of people making this mistake the part "Guess which one started" is confusing and shouldn't be there but at the end or simply reworded
No, it's an important part of the card - it prevents the card from becoming useless at the end game; if the opponent is in fatigue and you have to guess which card is in their deck, then it is literally impossible to guess correctly. So it would be broken and would probably cause an error. Having it guess what card started in the deck prevents this AND it encourages it to be played slightly leter in the game once you have learned more about the opponent's deck.

It can get any card that started in your deck.
The card text says it starts in your deck, not in your hand. Working as intended. It would be quite bad if you had to guess his hand as well...
ok then i misread it....

Love it when it's a simple probelm with a simple solution! :-)

all this time you thought people were guessing what cards were in the opponents starting hand and getting it right 90% of the time? honestly

It has the aforementioned reconnaissance aspect, and it's not like priest has much to do on turn 3 anyway.
