If you find effective replacements in context that's great (and you should share your findings to show how Creeper would be overrated).
If you are only playing Casual, ok. Your choice (but then who cares?).
While if your decks would benefit from Creeper at laddering, but you're not using them exclusively because of an idealism... Well that is just self-destructing narcissism. Why laddering at all then? And why try to discuss it in a context that primarily care of competitiveness?
You should at least try and find viable decks that do not actually use it. Possibly find counter or anti-meta decks, to fight off the trend of Tempo at all costs that Creeper serves.
Even if i agree that the card is boring and unnecessarily epic, an ideal that serves no practical purpose is just worthless.
I got one from a pack, dusted it.. then realised the horrific mistake I had made, crafted 2 x more to try and block it out.
I mean I just never thought I'd use it in control lock tbh and was trying not to play faster decks for a while... then it turns out to work in control lock even more with all the board clears. you can get them worth zero very fast.
Just get the cards. they are probably going to get nerfed, which means you'll get your dust back anyway. I have everything so far I think will get nerfed, and lots of predictions for hall of fame as well from older cards. keeping them so when the time comes, get dust.
also corridor creeper is awesome. sucks that it's not another bonemare, but I don't mind it being an epic. like you said it keeps it's power level in check slightly. that power on a common card would be too much.
Well I spend nothing on this expansion and I am able to play almost every meta deck, I had like 1600 dust when K&C launched and I feel my collection needs nothing more from K&C.
To be honest most legendaries this expansion aren't that good and the ones that are really needed crafts rely on you wanting to play that class.
There are several defining epics, but I rather craft 4 epics and play them in several decks that crafting one legendary for one archetype, I actually like the Corridor Creepers, I can play them in any kind of deck and they will do just fine while remaining strong, sure, they are costly and Blizzard may have known how good they were going to be but as far as useful a card can be I think the cost is fair.
The card will probably be nerfed- they have stated over and over again they don't want cards to be auto-includes in a large number of decks(see Azure Drake), so eventually they will come to their senses in a few months and lower the power level. So you are pretty safe in crafting it then I guess.

This. It's a solid bet for a craft. I made 2 because when they nerf it, which is more likely than not at this point, you get the dust back.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
whenever they print a bad epic/legendary that never will see play: "waaaah, that card is trash! shoulda been a common or rare at best."
whenever they print an epic/legendary that's a staple in multiple decks: "waaaah, that card is too good! shoulda been a common or rare at best."
does anyone else see the problem here??
Solution, every expansion will only have 20 common cards and one legendary. The legendary will be neutral and given to players for free at the start of the expansion.
Your argument assumes that Blizzard knew the card would be obscenely strong, and judging by the card's ratings on it's reveal thread, I don't think anyone expected it to take off

Petty sure most people did think the card was good, just not as good as it turned out to be(people are fucking running it in control decks).
Blizzard makes good Legendaries and Epics: "BAAAH DEATH OF F2P. Blizz is bunch of fat greedy corporate jerks."
Blizzard makes bad Legendaries and Epics: "lul Blizz hates x class. Yet another useless epic."
You do realize those are two different kinds of people, right?
I am not F2P. On one hand I can appreciate many new good cards to play with; yet I can understand the OP's frustration. HS is becoming increasingly more expensive. 3 expansions a year; more legendaries per expansion; more important epics. The power creep is real. It's unfortunate to see friends drop HS because they just can't keep up.

On the other hand Blizzard did a lot for free to play players, Free legendary a set, remove double legendary possibility (which was the hardest dust giveway in the game as far).
I think the actual problem is more, that people dont want to play a single deck, most people want to play all decks, which is pretty expensive to have realy all cards but thats not unlike any other card game /magic/yugioh/pokemon.
Your not supposed to have all the cards, your supposed to have some cards and build 1 deck which is best for you. On that regard Corridor Creeper is pretty good for free2plays because they can put him in almost all decks thus saving you dust when you craft him.
So @ OP its contraditory to say im not gonna craft it because its in every deck since that is arguably a good thing if your free to play.
Unless you want to be competetive but on that lvl its fine for a game to be Time/Money intense i think.

Really? You're supposed to? Then why is the game littering you with cards from every class, and duplicating stuff enmass; only giving you a fraction of the dust worth when you disenchant cards you don't want?
No, you're "supposed to" spend money. Building a single deck delivered by streamers and discarded whenever a new expansion hits might be what you have to do to survive being F2P. Sounds dreadfully boring to me though, so I am not surprised when people leave HS. It's a game you pay to play.

Thats basically exactly what i said, people dont want to play just 1 deck but free to play economics are oriented to just having 1 deck if your free to play.
But beeing able to craft at least 1 S-Tier Deck free to play is okay in my opinion at least for rank. But thats maybe the bigger problem, there is not realy a place for free to play players in this game.
Maybe Blizzard should implement a vanilla mode were only Basic cards can be used, for free to play players.
Corridor Creeper seems really good when you see it played against you. When it's in your hand for the first time you will realize it's even better than you thought.

It's a solid craft and works in a variety of decks. I think it's up on the potential nerf block so if that happens it's free dust back.
As a note I like watching people complain about unplayable epics and others complaining about playable epics that they feel like they need to craft.

Rogue Deckbuilder. Midrange/Combo player.

No one cares. have fun losing.

Auto include in aggro, tempo, mid and even in some control? Sounds like a bullshit card to me, so it's a safe craft and you won't really lose dust.
