I know that Patches the Pirate won't be in the next standard meta but it is almost in every deck I play against right now and in a lot of decks I have never tried before, should I craft him at this time or this is gonna be a bad idea!
Nott bad idea if you are maining rogue or loves playing tempo deck. It has quite great synergy with southsea captain too and can swing the game easily.

I agree with this. Plus he can still be used in Wild after it rotates.

How much you play Wild?
50% or more than your games? Sure, craft him, it is one of more powerful cards ever made in this game history, maybe the strongest.
Less than 50%? Maybe will be better safe the precious dust for something else.

Tempo Rogue. Or pirate Warrior. Or zoo Warlock. Or aggro Druid. Or any other deck that includes that godamned corridor creepers or Keleseth (even tempo Priest, ffs). Woohoo. Fun and interactive. (yup, this meta makes me salty).
it depends on the types of decks you like to play and the classes you find most fun.
patches is primarily found in rogue and warrior since they have better class pirates but can be found in any pirate deck. its a necessary card for any aggro deck (IMO) b/c the pirate package is still a real strong early game tempo swing.
if you prefer slower decks, ones focused on drawing out the game and clearing the board or looking for a combo, patches isnt foe you.
lastly, if you dont play wild, remember that hes leaving the rotation soon. hes still amazing untill then, so its your call if its worth it.
