Fal'dorei Strider for me. Busted card in my opinion. This alone (+ the Elven Minstrel) will make Miracle Rogue great again. Will make a deck without the legendary weapon though. Not convinced yet.
Twig of the World tree and Rin, The First Disciple. Mostly so I can make some good medivh+Malygos otk deco and a ritual deck using cho’gall and blood bloom.
What uses do you guys see in zola? I think it will fall out of favor in a few days. Its in my opinion just a super slow win more card. There are few relevant targets and no discount. Historically that has been not that good. Maybe in wild with reno. But even if you hit a kazakus, it's not that good. Maybe in the new meta, but i just don't see it.
She is very good for Quest Priest, as you can instantly get another Deathrattle minion in your hand.
Zola the Gorgon seems like it could be similar to Bonemare and fit lots of decks, probably the must-craft of the set.
Agree. Came here to post this. It's flown under the radar due to the legendary weapons garnering most of the discussion, but IMO it's the Brann of this set. Lots of uses, and has value during all parts of the game.
The only other legendaries I will craft day 1 is Val'anyr and Grumble, Worldshaker . I'm holding on Kingsbane for now.
It isn't anywhere near good enough to just get dumped in any old deck (and improve it).
If you have a specific use in mind then, sure, craft it, but make sure that it is a deck that absolutely depends on a certain minion and is happy paying a large tempo cost just to add a hard-to-use extra "copy" of it.
Also, bear in mind that this is NOT a third copy of that card - it doesn't increase your chances of drawing that card at all like a third copy of it would. You need to have drawn that card already AND be desperately keen to play a second copy in order for Zola the Gorgon to be the correct play.
Mill Rogue, perhaps? Even there, you will need to have achieved a measure of control before you are happy paying 6 mana for a pair of 2/2s and the Coldlight Oracle DRAW TWO CARDS battlecry.
I'm not stating unequivocally that Zola won't see competitive play anywhere but I can assure you that it will be very niche use and won't be a generic inclusion played across numerous archetypes.
Vastly overrated - please just wait a few days to see if I am totally wrong.

I don't know. Herald Volajz had a similar purpose and no one played it ever.
There are some pretty huge differences. First Herald was 6 mana. Making him hard to combo effectively. Secondly due to his mana cost you really needed a board already established to make a difference. Lastly he summoned things to the board, making him less versatile. You miss out on battlecry's effects. For example in priest you can complete the quest then copy your Amara on the same turn you play her.
So the combination of her being cheap (easily comboable) and putting the card in your hand (allowing you to double up on battlecry or combo effects) actually makes her quite strong. Again she won't be in every deck. Like Mattmurdock77 has said and like I said in her card reveal thread, she'll be the brann of this expansion.

This is solid advice. Though I think she isn't as niche as you make her sound. That being said she doesn't belong in every deck for sure. It's even possible that the decks that REALLY want her won't actually be top tier. Also, just to point out that the tempo loss with her isn't all that bad. Missing out on +1/+2 of stats (high end of stat distribution for that slot) I think is worth her effect in a deck that wants to utilize her.
But you are right, she doesn't go into everything. In fact she is MORE niche than Brann was but I think will fill a similar role of wanting to be in a number of decks. Like Big Priest, Big Druid or even Jade Druid. We'll have to see what new decks, if any spring up as well. Just a decent example of what you were talking about, a good specific creature copy would be Fal'dorei Strider.
I'm crafting the Mage Quest and anything that works with it from this expansion. Casino Mage is back!
you might not need the quest now though. the combo is going to work without it with some of the new cards. exodia is looking to be a much cheaper deck to craft.

I think the card is great in jade rogue, no much trouble to get a copy of the 1/1 stealth.
Later in the game is not bad get another Vile.
Is like Shadow but 3 manas is much easier to combine cards than 5 manas.

Letting you play a Legendary more than once, or basically any card again is quite powerful. A second Reno or a second Keleseth (even without Shadowstep) are two good examples, and obviously there are a lot more.
King Togwaggle and Kingsbane are non-negotiable day one crafts for me. I've always loved rogue decks (particularly weapon buff ones) so this is the card I've been awaiting for so long. Even if it doesn't end up being crazy good, I still want it. I crafted Valeera in gold and have golden rogue so I will probably end up crafting this in gold too if I don't draw it beforehand. Toggie is just a hilarious meme card but I have a feeling I might be able to make my druid deck steal work with ramping fast and burning the ransom card. I will probably also craft Sonya Shadowdancer and Zola the Gorgon for jade shenanigans. I'll easily have enough dust to get all four of these so they will probably be day 1 crafts for me.
And if that doesn't work out, probably Master Oakheart, for my warlock deck.
What's your plan for Oakheart in warlock? I could see it pulling Voidlord as a cool possibility, but I generally play Renodemonlock and would be afraid of losing Kazakus.
I'm thinking about crafting the darkness. Seems really good against razakus, jade druid, and the upcoming Secret Burn Mage archetype. I think it will definitely have its place in the meta.
I won't craft any legendary in the first few weeks, tbh most of them are really underwhelming (specially the weapons, which i believe wont see play in any tier 1-2 deck).
Mage: Even though I realize the card is barely playable I'll probably craft Dragoncaller Alanna cause, you know,Dragons.... For the same reason I need Dragon's Fury (Would love to get a golden one, such a beautiful artwork) and obviously Deck of Wonders for the memes....
Paladin: I hate the vast majority of buff related cards so nothing interesting for me here....
Priest: Once again probably bad card, like really bad,but Temporus has such a cool effect I need to get it.... Also Twilight Acolyte for Dragon Priest and Psychic Scream (I'm already ready to get full dust refund on this when they realize it's busted af and decide to nerf it).... If I'm lucky with packs and have some spare dust I'll get 2x golden Duskbreaker cause they look amazing.... Erm did I mention that I like Dragons a lot?
Rogue:Evasion to try it in Miracle and maybe Fal'dorei Strider but I'm not completely convinced about the latter....
Shaman: I don't play Shaman so nothing here...
Warlock: I think we can all agree that the most interesting cards here are all commons and rares.... I think I'm gonna hoard all my copies of Kobold Librarian just in case it ends up breaking the game....
Warrior: Same as Shaman I just don't like the class....
Neutral: Zola the Gorgon is the only legendary I'd consider crafting but I'm not convinced so I'll probably wait a bit and then see.... As for the Epics beside Grand Archivist for some meme Decks nothing looks interesting to me....

If I don't get them for packs, I will craft (in order of importance)
Zola the Gorgon
Psychic Scream
Carnivorous Cube
Twilight's Call
Duskbreaker
Twilight Acolyte
Hoarding Dragon
Gilded Gargoyle
Vulgar Homunculus
Unstable Evolution
i don't usually instacraft anything, but I really want to get the hunter weapon. If it proves to be a tier 3 deck at least i'll definitely craft it.
I'm probably going to craft Leyline Manipulator and Lesser Ruby Spellstone for my Mage Elemental deck.
I'd advise people not to insta-craft Zola the Gorgon.

Rhok'delar and To My Side!. I'm ready for no minion hunter to be a thing.

I was thinking that Master Oakheart would pull a Voidwalker, Vulgar Homunculus, and Voidlord. Then all of those can be rezzed by Bloodreaver Gul'dan.

In the epic department i think i'll start with Carnivorous Cube and Call to Arms.
