So you don't play this unless the deck is rigged for it. Assume when you use this it will get you Lich King, Ysera, Deathwing 2.0, Nozdormu for lulz, Y'Shaarj is probably the nuts, Yip works if you have armor.
8 mana get a 9 or 10 mana guy 3 times seems pretty good, plus the weapon stats to hit with. I'd say this is better than Scourgelord Garrosh in a traditional control wallet warrior. Could be pretty good if the deck is good.
While that may sound nice and all, pretty much anything you try to do with this will just be a worse version of Big Priest.
Pretty powerful card. Might be too slow, I'm not sure. Getting an 8+ drop every turn could be pretty outrageous, and Warrior's the only class that has the tools to put more targets into the deck.
Warrior doesn't have considerably less tools than priest for controlling the board, and has a lot of armor gain, so I can see it. Dead Man's Hand and Blood Warriors to cycle in more targets... yeah. I think it's definitely possible.
While that may sound nice and all, pretty much anything you try to do with this will just be a worse version of Big Priest.
Outside of Barnes this is potentially faster, though. Warrior's recruit spell doesn't reduce the target's stats. Warrior also has weapons for face damage and this weapon alone gives you three opportunities to pull targets, whereas Priest needs a lot of separate spells and combos to pull minions properly. Warrior also has better targets than Priest (chargers like Grom, as well as cards which generate other minions like Yip and Rotface). Garrosh's hero power also lets you activate those cards immediately upon recruiting them.
Not gonna lie it’s not impossible to play this card you could play a control warrior solely with removal and runs big cards with dead man hands and the idea is to get to your whole deck and dead man hands big minion and recruit big minion and run your opponent down

Why ? U have more card draw, u have more life through armor, u have more removal, u have dead man's hand for more big boys and no fatigue.
I don't think that any kind of current warrior archeotypes could use this. SInce is it extremely slow, it could only be good for control warrior, but control warrior usually wants to have control over which minion he wants to summon and when and many of them also have battlecries.
As a value card, it won't see any play in Standard until spring rotation eliminates the two decks which are currently squeezing value-based control decks out of the meta-game. Even after rotation, however, this card is likely far too weak. Spending an entire turn to play a 3/3 weapon on turns 8+ is a huge opportunity cost. If you are relying on Woecleaver consistently pulling a premium late-game Taunt in order to save your ass from the tempo loss of playing a 3/3 weapon, you've already drawn over 40% of your deck by turn eight - often, The Lich King, or whatever premium defensive minions you are relying on, will already be in your hand and this could simply be a dead card. There doesn't seem to be any reason at all not to have made this a 5-Attack weapon - it is a Warrior legendary, after all. All things considered, it seems like a missed opportunity.
Sort of like Medivh, the Guardian in a way. Both cost 8, both can generate you 3 minions. Differences are that with Medivh you get a 7/7 body, whereas with this you get 9 damage over three turns (3 of which have charge since you can attack right away). Also the weapon doesn't require spells to generate the minions, although you do need minions left in your deck to actually get, so super late game this is not a good draw. The weapon also synergizes with the various warrior weapon buff cards for either extra damage or extra swings. Overall I don't think this makes the cut as warrior has other strategies that are probably more powerful, but it's not garage either.
Initially won't be good because of all the oozes and joneses that will be running rampant the first month or so. After that it will see play. Warrior has a lot of low cost spells to easily stay alive to turn 8 without needing to play a single minion. Recruit warrior is at least feasible conceptually.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too expensive. If it was 5 or 6, or even 7 mana it would have been good or at least playable. This is just outright trash. Blizzard is really good at underestimating cards (like Shadowreaper Anduin) and overestimating cards BY A LOT (like this one). This is because priest was pretty bad back in the day, so why not just give it metric tons of good cacrds and give the other classes the shaft? Fun Fact: With Skull of the Man'ari and Rin, the First Disciple Warlock now has no playable legedaries this expansion. This card can only be good if the cost is halved or the stats doubled. Because what in holy hell are you hitting for THREE DAMAGE on TURN EIGHT except for face? Besides, unless the last four warrior cards are some really good early game survival cards, then Big Warrior may not work, because Warrior really needs the early gae minions like Public Defender and Armorsmith.
3 Attack on turn 8 is unlikely to kill minions so you'll probably have to swing face....
How many good targets does this have? I'd say about 5 and you're not even guaranteed to get the minion you need...
Since it's Recruit you lose Battlecries...
Overall,as of now (they might reveal something that makes this broken tonight),the card seems really underwhelming,(I was expecting an early game weapon instead... Not FWA 2.0 but something to help on turn 1/2 that isn't abusable by Pirates ) it's slow,RNG dependent and I don't really see Big Warrior as a viable archetype.... Priest has all those resurrect cards to abuse Barnes (and Obsidian Statue) on top of the best removal in the game, what does Warrior have beside Barnes itself and that other 6 mana spell?
I'm not a Warrior expert (It's my least played class) but I just can't picture this card in any Deck beside some extremely slow and greedy ones that wouldn't go far on ladder....
So there are two types of warrior they want us to use from this expansion - Recruit (Big) Warrior and Armor (Control) Warrior. We'll see if any of the two is viable.

Then don't play it. If someone wants to build a deck using this card the card will work. It may not be good on ladder. Everything from a new set looks bad in comparison to what's already good. Writing off cards before you play with them at all is foolish.

Why no cleave effect? It lost all flavor.
Give Sylvanas Back to Standard!

Crap.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
if real its bad, not because of its effect, but rather because control warrior needs more early tools that arent gimmicky.
Another push for big warrior, just like Gather Your Party. Will be interesting to see if this works as an archetype, but I'm not holding my breath...

8 mana, 3-1 weapon that recruits one minion...very bad! (I take into account that every deck will run at least one source of weapon removal).
