What they have in common is Mana Cheat. (priest has value, druid has sustain) What this Big warrior have? It just like having Y'shaarj for 3 turn. (BTW Shaman has primal turtle for 3 turn too)

I don't know whether the weapon turns out to be viable, but with it, Warrior has tempo (after the first turn, it is one minion per turn for free) and Plays the minion without spending resources. If it works out.
a point people brought up a lot in the shamn weapon, a 3 damage weapon is not something you can easily swing, it kills almost nothing in turn 8 and you are facing bionemere'd minions.. so in the average case thios weapon is kinda bad for having a low attack value...

This Recruit mechanic is being way too expensive... Worst keyword ever, Hearthstone will never become slow enough for this being viable...
It's bad but still better than The Runespear, at least you can manipulate which minion you recruit
Equip, next turn pull Grom, inner rage, sudden Genesisx2=36 damage. And in the case that you draw him you can just dead mans hand.

It might be good in some kind of Big Warrior with battlecry-less minions but that's it.

Ysera, Lich King, Grom, Y'Shaarj, the new legendary, etc...
All are good for 8 manas and if the weapon is not removed in next turn the value go for the roof.
Unlike other classes warrior can tutor weapons, it is almost sure you will have this card in hand in turn 8.

8 mana, are you cereal? For that you should at least get the Discover key word.
Maybe playable in some version of Big Warrior with Hemet and DMH? Keep shuffling your big minion back into your deck and recruit them infinitely?

Wow...Big warrior really is a huge threat now. Although I think this card is bad.
Recruit pulls it out of the deck. So that won't work sadly enough :(
