Pretty fun card, i hope it won't get nerfed as yogg did.
I wouldn't think so. Firstly it's a full on tempo loss with no body, the effect doesn't happen right away and you generally won't get more than 1 or 2 spells to trigger a turn. It's waaaaay worse than Yogg.
Edit: Oh and the Yogg nerf really won't apply to this card as the yogg nerf basically just made it so if he killed himself he stopped casting, where you generally won't get the same deluge of spells from this card, unless you play it after you have no cards in your deck lol.
I think it's going to be quite certain the 5 spells generated in your deck are going to be procced for the quest. At least thats what i think because the text specificly explains "When you draw Cast this"
It's text that Ambush! Does not have. It just creates an effect upon drawing. But i really do hope so it's going to work with quest mage. Even tough the hate for quest mage is there. The win rate is absolute horrible of the deck. Having some different ways to be able to play it is good. Just as any quest obviously. It just needs a bit of weakness buffing so the deck is actually playable in some way.
Maybe if you read you'll find that it doesn't work like you think.
isn't this a negative effect on the random spell generation of mages' spells/minions? You really don't want to get this from tome/book/glyph etc, and it's a fun way of employing some diminishing returns on those tome-like effects. Sorta the same way they've impacted evolve, rigging the game a little.
RNG on top of RNG. I'm really not sure this card is gonna see a ton of play outside of some random guy's attempt to make Casino Mage a thing again in Standard or someone playing Casino Mage in Wild. That is, unless the Scrolls can trigger the Mage quest, because I suppose those cards don't count as starting in your deck once they get shuffled in by the effect...
Love the card. Will make mages less prone to be offered Meteor or Cabalist's Tome or Primordial Glyph in arena. Instead, they will be offered this clown fiesta. I like it.
Awesome, more uncontrollable RNG in HS. Turn any deck into a meme deck now...

I can't wait to see this happen...
Those are cards not scrolls Blizzard!
I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.

What happens if it is drawn during opponent's turn? ie Coldlight Oracle.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
Ben Brode: Hey pals, Old Gods is rotating out in some months. What can we make to keep Servant of Yogg-Saron in the game?
Team5: Make a spell-version of it.
Brode: Done!
Fun maybe? But utterly crap. We don't need this sort of RNG in the meta anyway, but it's cool they print cards like this.
Not competitive but a fun meme card like noggenfogger. As a f2pr I see 100 dust.

hahahahahaha I can't even suggest anything to fix that piece of shit XD
