its card in this direction we need to see control warrior viable again. But given that one of the outcomes, as mentioned previously, is equal to shieldmaiden, i think it might be a bit too weak. Sure shield maiden was a stable in that deck, but cards have become more powerful since then, and this is inconsistent. anyone else bothered by the fact that its a shield, not an actual weapon?
You can't compare a 6 mana card to six 1 mana cards. Saying this is "half as good" as Iron Hide is wrong. 1 mana cards are stronger per mana cost than 6 mana cards. Like a Mana Wyrm x6 would be a 6/18 that gained 6 attack when you cast a spell. Pretty strong 6 drop eh? Or Iron Hide x6 would give you 30 armor for 6 mana, also too strong. This is a fantastic card, the problem is the randomness making it worse than "very good". If control warrior is a deck, this card will be in the deck.
However it is more consistent than you guys are giving credit for, most of the time cards just sit in your hand for the proper moment, just like everything else in CW, if this is not currently located in your hand, you'll be looking for it to stabilize yourself and all of the options does that, big heal stabilize you, removal stabilize you and Shieldmaiden also stabilizes.
Still, I don't think it would see play, maybe one if the deck exists
seems pretty good to me, As usual people are underestimating the fact this could give you a minion with 5 armor or tempo. The only mode that doesnt give you Tempo is if you gain 15 armor, which isnt that bad. Also i guess non of you played with Shieldmaiden, cause everyone didnt think shieldmaiden was good and then it basically became a 2 of in every CW list. Last thing to mention The Warrior legendary would only be good if they gave Warrior a card that gained alot of armor, and this is pretty good for that.
This is the first Unidentified card where all effects seem decent. Also plays into the possible Big Warrior theme... curious if the Spiked Shield version will work with the Lesser Mithril Spellstone
And then factor in that it's random. Imagine getting the arcanite reaper option against aggro, or the 15 armor against exodia.
I agree with out on some.
15 armor is really bad for mana efficiency. Armor Holy Fire is probably not what CW would play because it has more efficient removal. Sheildmaiden was obviously good in CW. I actually think CW would run a Reaper that heals. Similar Grave's Justice, it's heal and burst.

Probably not in constructed playable as it’s too random. Outside of armor the effects are okay. Possibly a decent pick in arena (lol warrior...) as 3 of 4 picks give 5 damage at least for a turn or two.

The difference in Warrior though is that there is a way to use armor to influence the board via Shield Slam. So gaining armor in Warrior is more relevant than healing yourself in Priest. Control Warrior doesn't want to run Arcanite Reaper (previously) because War Axe used to cost 2 mana, and you didn't want to take up too many slots with weapons that weren't Gorehowl and War Axe.
One of us will be right. And at least one of us will try to make Control Warrior a thing either way. (me)
It's odd really because I think the card IS decent. Everyone who is posting things like "It's this + this" and speaking of it in a negative light are surprising me. Arcanite Reaper + Ironhide IN ONE CARD, Shield Slam + Iron Hide IN ONE CARD, 3x Iron Hide IN ONE CARD, and in the case of shieldmaiden, that is just good enough on it's own. That is a lot of value from one card giving value like 2-3 cards.
The downside though is two fold in my opinion. Firstly, RNG. In a control deck you often need specific answers. Not being able to actually rely on this card for anything but armor makes it inconsistent enough to not be able to actually replace any of the combo's this card COULD represent.
The second downside is, in comparison to other control classes I haven't seen anything from warrior so far that could push it ahead of the current control decks, let alone current control decks with new toys (psychic scream for instance). This card certainly isn't enough to do it. Warrior has weirdly gotten some odd tempo cards (so far) rather than control support.
The good news is there are a lot more warrior cards to go.
These "Unidentified" cards would be a lot more appealing if the effect changed every turn, like Shifter Zerus or Molten Blade. That way you would have the option to wait, until it has the effect that you desire in your current situation. As it stands, they just seem too unreliable, with many effects being under-powered in most situations.
Gaining 15 armor is good against aggro (the type the runs out of steam, like PW) and against burn decks, but pretty terrible against most other decks where value and board control is more important. Gain 5, Deal 5 is decent in most situations. Gain 5, summon a 5/5 is basically Shieldmaiden, which I think is not quite good enough today. A 5/5 used to be pretty hard to kill, but decks have become so strong by now that playing a turn 6 5/5 is tempo suicide. Gain 5, get a Reaper is the only one that's really good.
It will probably see play just because it gives armor, and Warrior really wants that to make good use of Shield Slam. A more important question is if such a classic CW style deck is even viable, compared to a deck like Big Priest which is rather similar.

I like but I should not.

The random aspect should reduce the cost by 1 like Animal Companion but is not a bad card.

2 the effects are horrible value. And the other two aren’t that great. Pass... bad card.

Decent RNG effect and decent cost.

one is Holy Fire for Warrior, one is Shieldmaiden and one is a more expensive Arcanite Reaper for one more mana but gives 5 armor.
I wish this cost 5 mana instead of 6. That would make it playable.

ResidentSleeper warrior likes armor attached to stuff. If the decks comes back this is playable.
Only good one is the weapon one, can't rely on getting that, dust
Don't mind me just passing by
Where is the "Draw 5 cards" option? :P

Will be a top pick for Arena, too slow for constructed unless Warrior somehow gets spell synergy
