I just had to read the card twice to see if I was misreading something. But no, people find this meta defining and very good. Any other class, maybe very good. But for warlock this is one extra mana and two damage to the face for +1/+1 on Voidwalker. Being demon makes it a very interesting option for control warlock, but lets not get carried away with "meta-defining".

But why not play both? A dragon priest that goes Twilight Whelp into Wyrmrest Agent is insane, and that's in priest, which is a much worse tempo class than warlock.
Really good 2 drop for Zoo and Control Warlock. The large Taunt body for the practically unnoticeable downside is awesome, and it does wonders against Aggro decks. Of course, it'll be worse if you don't draw this card in the early game because if you're super low on health by the late late game, it can work against you in some cases. But in any other case, it's an awesome 2-drop.
This and the Void Lord are huge upgrades to Krul-Kazakus-Warlock and this is a huge boost to Normal Control Warlock. The one mana Draw a card is amazing in Zoo and the new Board Wipe is really good for Discard-Lock.
Warlock really made out like a bandit in this set. Every deck archetype Warlock has got a big boost.

You are all forgeting this is a 2-drop which means you either play this + something like Golakkas or Keleseth and I don't think this Demon is strong enoughon a deck like Zoo to replace a boost to the other 95% of the deck, this will for sure be an auto-include in Controlock but in zoo I doubt it'll be included a lot.

We'll have to see if having the chance to play keleseth on turn 2 is stronger than have the possibility to curve Flame imp on 1, this on 2 and councilman on 3. At the moment I think that the second option is better in a more aggressive zoo deck. Also, that kind of board doesn't even die to hellfire or the new priest's drake.
Really dig the way this card is built. It givea controllock a powerful tool and also creates an important deckbuilding decision between this and keleseth in zoo.

You don't seem to understand the importance of early board control. And two damage to the face is actually a bonus for spellstone synergy.

... double post
are you mocking me?
this is really op.
... and sorry for my english
Holy shit, now that's nice! Finally warlock has a decent 2 drop again.
Looks insanely strong for zoolock
Fuck cubelock
Definitely a good card, zoo will pick it up, but it may not have enough impact for control Warlock since they often want to tap on 2.
Damn I'm really gonna hate facing warlocks on the ladder...

To drop keleseth or not hmmm

I almost want to vote meta defining because of the insane synergy with warlock DK
Good expansion to be a Warlock... with the new skin...
