This is great. The "downside" of it hitting your face is almost outweighed, because generally it's also going to do 2 dmg to your opponent. Especially Rogues and Druids, etc. Will definitely see play in Zoo, and I wouldn't be surprised if Control uses it for the spellstone upgrade and draw.
The deck thinning on this is great. a 1 cost you can fit it in and get closer to your answers, and it even stacks with the hero power. Plus the new life steal removal... and control lock is looking nice.
Replaces Flame Imp for me. This is even a good 2 mana card but it is potentially OP at 1 mana with its card draw and spellstone synergy. Its even a better version of Loot Hoarder. This is a great card. Bloodreaver Gul'dan says thank you.
Wow! This with a 1/1 would be good. But its a 2/1 on top. Now that is what I call the most broken one drop, after Tunnel Trogg and Mana Wyrm (with respect to Northshire Cleric)
This is one seriously powerful 1-drop. You get a 1-mana body with a 0 mana Warlock hero power on top of it. I mean, seriously! A free card drawn with barely any real penalty towards your hero. It might have something of a negative effect against Aggro decks, but it's still an incredibly cheap and effective way of cycling cards. It even retains some power later on in the game by allowing you to draw for better cards (as long as you aren't too low on health, that is.) It works really well in all Warlock decks, whether it's Zoolock, Control Warlock or Discolock - I foresee a bright future for Warlock in this expansion.
I'm not too convinced by this card. It's great value, but tempo-wise it's not that great on turn 1, and it also dies to a lot of 2-mana hero powers and to every AoE, and to Patches. A lot of the time you're going to play this and it's just going to die for free. Though it does thin your deck and that's really valuable. It's good, but I don't think it's as insane as the votes seem to make it out to be. 2/1 is just a really terrible statline unless you're playing a really aggressive deck, and Zoo is more of a controlling deck.

Turn 1 Life tap with stats? i´ll take it!
A life tap that also makes board, for 1 mana? Nice.
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

I love the flavor of this card. He tries to hand you a book, but his candle sets it on fire. Tragic story, really.
is so cute!
This is nuts. You basically get your hero power and a 2/1 body for 1 less mana.
I can fell the cancer in my vains..IT BURNS!
Just Another Legend Player#Kappa
I...
I can't see a single deck outside of Mill/Fatique decks that wouldn't want this in their deck.
I will vote this the best card of the expansion. Maybe even in the game.
Holy shit this is busted.
I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,

The art on this is the best thing I have ever seen, the look on the kobold's face LOL

included card.
Obviously really good. Handlock has a new turn 1 option.
Look at this thing and let me know what you think!
And this, kids, is how you make irony.
110% busted for Zoolock. Beside myself that they would print something like this.
WoW
Even without the relict this is realy powerful.
