Might replace Drain Soul or Shadowbolt in decks that played those, but I'm not even sure if you'd play more than one, since you have to draw AND damage yourself. I doubt you hero power triggers it.
This is the best one yet, its ability is super easy to trigger (especially with the other new cards revealed) and the effect is a massive swing. Will see play.
This card is barely playable when its fully upgraded, garbage in every other situation.
Huh? deal 7 damage and restore 7 health is garbage?
tbf 4-6 of that healing was damage you took to get it to hit for 7. so more like... deal 7 damage heal 3-1
Not exactly though, because the damage done by the minions is built into the minions' power. Flame Imp, Kobold Librarian, and Vulgur Homonculus are all cards so powerful that only the damage done to the hero balances them. So yeah, it's deal damage heal 1-3, but also play overpowered minions to lead up to that point.

The new 2-1 that damages you for 2 also draws you a card. Warlocks typically damage themselves plenty in order to draw, now they can do it to play strong minions instead. Even if it didn't heal it's a 4 mana deal 7 damage card...
I mean, Warlocks are usually masochists and deal damage to theirself anyways, Hellfire, Abyssal Enforcer ( and the other dude ) plus the new cards. I can’t see any downsides, i mean you are literally doing something that you would have done anyways and you get some free damage/healing, it’s not like the other Amulets whose triggers seems cluncky and forced.
I think this card is actually really bad. Ignoring the life steal part, for 4 mana you're looking at cards like polymorph, hex, fireball, death is only 3. There's not that many cards that deal damage to your self outside of the new cards, flame imp, and maybe pitlord.
It doesn't fit well in zoo because zoo doesn't play expensive removal.
It doesn't fit well in control because they don't play cards that does self damage and can upgrade this card.
Hellfire, Abyssal Enforcer, and hell even Dread Infernal fits into a control warlock. Add those on top of the new minions and I think its consistent enough to upgrade at least once.
no jokes do you not see that you and i believe you will allways used Flame Imp before and the only thing that you got from him was 3 damage to the enemy (or minion) of course then you will also damage you again to get that and dont forget even the Street Trickster could be show more play time now.

Do you believe this strongly enough to promise never to use the card?
Because I think that would be really funny.

Seems powerful in control lock. You're gonna play your hellfires and abyssal enforcers anyway. Why not get a 4 mana kill a dude and regain 7 health along with it?

It's nice in the mirror match to take out a gone-face Doomguard. Unfortunately though there aren't other 7-health minions common in the current meta.

And i don’t even play Paladins

This is insanely strong card in a certain control warlock build.

All you have to do is deal damage to yourself twice to upgrade? Very good card

Release the Kraken!
does the spell upgrade even if its in your deck? or do you need it in your hand when you take damage?
Three damage with lifesteal for 4 mana is already playable, five is very good, and seven is absolutely fantastic.
