I think people are greatly undervaluing this card. Strong in all phases of the game and allows you to choose the basic totem? I think this will eventually be an auto-include, especially in token shaman.

I 100% agree. It's almost Druid like in it's versatility. If the card text was instead 2 mana 1/3 "Choose one, gain taunt, heal all your minions for 1 a the end of your turn, gain +1 spell power, gain +1/+1" people would likely see it as preeeety good.
Obviously you can't just make comparisons like this as the stats are not combined which does make a difference. However for shaman, that isn't a bad thing. Shaman has a lot of synergy over them being two seperate minions. Thing from Below for example or Bloodlust and Evolve.

+Can double down on some totems, again spell power or healing are very useful, +2 healing to all minions can be devasting in tempo match ups. or 2 totems of spell power + portal is 3 damage aoe not too shabby

So I'm thinking that this might not be the best activator for Windshear Stormcaller since you can only have one minion other than the basic totems in play if you want space for Al'Akir.
unless you are going for the Alakir combo you are not selecting the 1/1 totem. Otherwise a 2 mana 1/1 0/2 that can either have spell power or heal everything for 1 is pretty good. if you are looking for the taunt then this thing is basically a really minor arcanosmith which isn't good. also has synergy with totem cards because totems. If totem becomes really good then shadow word horror seems amazing.

I may argue the tempo a bit. Getting two bodies for cheap feeds right into what shaman does right now. I wouldn't call it "good" tempo at all, but I wouldn't call it poor. The stats are actually average if you consider the totems stats as well.

Doubt this card will see that much play, the choose your totem effect is extremely strong but having the option to do it only once is meh. if you want spell power you'd go thalnos / zealot. Healing one is good but its not worth sacrificing a spot in your deck. Shaman needed solid stat 2 drop to enable more decks but I doubt this is it. If they print more totem synergy cards, something similiar to thunder bluff valiant then maybe but I'm not feeling it.
Also, for those that say its good because its better version of your hero power. You ALSO HAVE TO PAY A DECKSLOT FOR 1 CHOICE. It's good thing but wouldn't give it much thought as it takes cardslot.
If you're in dire need of a certain totem, you probably lost the game already. It's not worth "wasting" a card to ensure a high-roll on a totem, since getting a 1/1 body isn't really that good. If you want spell damage totems, put Kobold Geomancer in your deck instead.
Also, using this to summon Al'Akir is stupid... if you're going to add 4 or 5 cards that ensure you get Al'Akir, just put Al'Akir in your deck, and spend your cards/mana on better things.

Meh... better than hero power. You get to situationally pick which one and you get a little 1/1. So ya playable but probably not for very long.

Only good for Totem Shaman. If you rate it based on the card alone its hot trash. really excited to try Totem Shaman in Wild.
