My first reaction was a burst of laugh. Like the people in the first pages mentioned - she has the stats of a true meme.
Then I read the effect - sounds good, sounds like she can generate bunch of value, she does it better than bolvar (original one) and vorrax combined (even in comparison to blood queen lanathel), but right after that I remembered how dominant priest currently is. Is this is kinda sad, because almost every aggro deck runs silence, but this minion could have showed a lot of potential. Well, almost - I kinda only imagine her in a paladin deck, because in the mid-range ones, who are running 2x the 6 mana buff spell + 2x Kings, she would be really slow, she would only be a dead card, because those decks care about playing their cards kinda aggressively and with this legendary you want to gain some value.
So even though control decks don't run any buffs rather than the 6 mana ones, this minion has better chances to find a home there than in a buff deck. Regarding how much she would be useful for the control players, whether or not they really need it, will only be answered with the time. For now I'm kinda pessimistic.
Zola the Gorgon + Galvadon + Lyonessa will give me some fun times
just wondering what happens if one of the spells give Lyonessa "can't be targeted by spells" and there are still buffs missing.. will it stop or still keeps buffing Lyonessa?
1. Does it need to be in hand like Bolvar Fordragon to get the effects or is it a C'Thun 'wherever it is ' case?
2. Do the effects appear on the card while it is in your hand or do the spells get cast in order when you play it?
3. Because it is a battlecry, I would think the spells get recasted when you play it. What is the animation? All at once or individually? Is it like Yogg-Saron, Hope's End?
4. If it is a long animation individually like Yogg, Does that mean Mayor Noggenfogger crashes the party and every spell is cast on a random minion? .... Head Explodes!
1. This card is is a medium to heavy build around card. At minimum it requires spikeridge steed to by played.
2. While weak to silence, any deck playing this will be weak to anyway. The fact that spikeridge is still played would indicate that this is not a concern.
3. Anyone who claims this is weak to the new card scream, can play me any time. Psychic Scream is a mostly worse recycle when used to clear this. And recycle was a terrible play. Same with twisting nether.
4. Heavy build arounds will likely use the 1 mana buff spells like adapt and blessing of wisdom which can immensely improve the value of this card.
5. The spells should be cast either in order of play or reverse order of play depending on if the memory stores them as a list or a stack. We will see.
6. Adaptation should either allow you to re choose the buff or retain the original choice. It depends how adaptation is coded, whether it lets you discover a spell to cast on the minion or if it is cast directly and the rest is the spell resolving.
7. There is a small chance that this card was coded like C'thun with a memory on the player that holds a sort of build a buff spell, which combines all the effects of buffs played into 1. This would be bad for the card as it would have terrible interactions with dark conviction and dinosize. However this seems a highly unlikely choice.
This could be good. Sure it's suseptible to silence but so is any Spikeridge steed target. Plus, if they silence this, it's no longer available for Tirion. Also, the silence from your opponents just might be soaked up by your other buffed targets by the time this lands. What this has over the Bolvar cards is this card doesn't have to be in your hand when you use your buff cards.
Hah, I swear they're nerfing evolve intentionally now by printing more and more awful things to evolve into at high costs. Ironically, this just means devolve is getting stronger and stronger
The worst possible result at: 0 mana = 1/1 1 mana = 0/1 2 mana = 1/1 (or 4/5 can't attack, or Doomsayer, or Lorewalker Cho) 3 mana = 1/1 4 mana = 1/1 5 mana = 2/2 Deathrattle: Deal 5 damage to self 6 mana = 1/1 7 mana = 1/1 (new!) 8 mana = 5/4 9 mana = 5/4 Randomize everything 10 mana = 7/5
Other new cards in Kobolds and Catacombs that aren't the worst of their cost, but are pretty bad: 5 mana = 2/4 7 mana = 3/3 8 mana = 3/5 taunt OR 4/7 OR 5/5 9 mana = 3/8 taunt
if you cast only spikeridge steed on something it's already great and if it's gets silenced so what? you just played a 1 mana 1/1 and casted spikeridgested on it..
it's good enough.
but for cosistancy a deck with this card should have at least 6 buff cards and cast 2 weaker ones or spikeridge steed once.
this card seems good to me, if you run buffs you run a lot of silence targets anyway.
This card is good. You don't even have to run it in your deck for it to be good, since people will save their silences for this now, wheter you have it or not :D

i don't know. i assume that u get t choose th adaptation, but blizzard probebly won't invest the time to program it so u will probebly stick with the first effect.

priest board clears are like having fun in hearthstone. you think u had enough, and then u get more.
anti-magic shell is not targetted, this won't work.
you could pick it off an adaptation, but there is no point because the main silence right now is spellbreaker which "can't be targetted" does not protect against.

I don't know how the card is gonna be but people's opinions just made my day

What's missing is a "cannot target" 1 cost buff
Quest Control Paladin?

OK everyone who said this card is bad, i will come back to see your comments edited in 2 months
The road to Legend is not fun at all
This card is good. You don't even have to run it in your deck for it to be good, since people will save their silences for this now, wheter you have it or not :D

Btw, I freaking love the artwork.
all of the legendary non weapon class cards so far in this set were girls or gender neutral.
priest board clears are like having fun in hearthstone. you think u had enough, and then u get more.
the anti magic shell is not a card u cast on a minion. therefor, lynessa doesnt get it's effect if u play her after the card.

If i use the adapt spell and choose "can't be targeted" does that translate to this also?
