Pretty sure this is bad because you can't get tempo back even though it's only 4 mana because you discard your threats. You aren't going to play cards like devilsaur egg to be good with this card when you fall behind. This is just terrible design really. Zoo doesn't want this either because they don't plan on winning from a lossed board. Even if you destroy a bunch of minions and tap and play a card it's not good. In control it could cost 8 mana a be about the same powerlevel. Really bad design plain and simple.
In other news this could single handedly put discard quest warlock on the map by completing the quest turn 4 and summoning the portal on 5.
Have to agree with you there. Really can't see a deck which would want this card, only thing that comes to mind is discard quest. But even still you lose alot of tempo and past meta's have shown that just the portal alot isn't enough to win on board
So I'm not a huge fan of this card... BUT this is going to make early game quest Warlock viable. Also, its good in control Warlock against aggro decks that are just gonna swarm you out anyway and also good against those late/fatigue games with Bloodreaver Gul'dan where you're just top decking and your opponents has a board (has actually happened to me more than enough times). So its playable... meh. But I'm still waiting for some strong Demons for Warlock.
