You could run it in Priest actually with a potion of madness so you can use the 2-drop to your advantage as well. There also is the upside of playing this when you are behind on the board and summoning a Doomsayer. Maybe you have it summon something with crappy attack like netherspite historian. Maybe you summon Nat, The Darkfisher and can draw you some more cards The minions that would really suck to be summoned are ones like stubborn gastropod. I would say that there are more bad 2-drops than good when it is turn 6+
It seems to me like a slightly better Sunwalker - which I know isn't really played, but it will survive AoE better than Sunwalker does. The 6 slot is pretty weak overall atm but I still am unsure what deck you would actually want to put this in. - If Priest is rampant (which seems the case based on cards so far) then this may have a place.
Wouldn't it make more sense if it was "battlecry: your opponent recruits a 2 cost minion"?

Oh? Didn't you know? Yogg-Saron, Hope's End never dies, not even when he's moved to wild due to his new cult member and my newest favorite card Toki, Time Tinker!
The card you can compare this with is ancient of war which is a 7 mana 5/10 Taunt that doesnt see play atm. and i doubt many decks would play a 6 mana 4/10 taunt , with the 2 mana minion this is completelly out of question with Doomsayer,Gastropod,Thalnos, loothoarder, huckster etc...way to many results that are verry bad. This wont see play on higher lvls. however its better than an vanilla packfiller.
Insane card and anyone who is saying this is a pack filler will eat their words when control decks are eating the meta alive. Priest will run this. Midrange anything will run this. Too many stats and taunt. Just a huge pain in the ass against anything but Vilespine and Death. Maybe Deadly Shot.
THIS WILL DISRUPT YOUR OPPONENTS GAME PLAN 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES.
This card is only 3 stat points more than [card]Ancient of Blossoms[/card], and that doesn't give your opponent a free 2 drop. If this card is so insane why doesn't Ancient of Blossoms see any play?

druid would never play this because they have jade behemoth and spreading plague for the 6 slot (which is also why they don't run ancient of war). but this could mayyybe see play in control builds for classes that have weaker taunts. i agree with the poster above, it's sort of hard to appraise this one right now, could be critical in some decent decks, could be relegated to arena.
If you put this in a control deck, you want it to counter aggro. But odds are you won't have a board established to counter that 2-drop. If you give Evolve Shaman, Aggro Druid, Tempo Rogue or Zoo another minion, they can easily abuse it by buffing it.
Therefore I think that this minion is better in Midrange or Tempo decks where you can deal with the 2-drop instantly, and use this to protect your other minions. A 4/10 is pretty solid against control decks, especially Priest, and that 2-drop wont help them much. You'll only get screwed by Doomsayer.
However, this minion is not that much better than Sunwalker when it comes to the stats. Which is why I don't think this will be played. It's definitely a solid minion to Recruit though, and definitely a buff to anything that generates minions like Atiesh and Forbidden Shaping. Voted Bad.

Maybe comparison to Ancient of Blossom from above is better, but I kinda forgot ancient of blossom because that card is seen nowwhere so I used Ancient of war to explain why this card is bad. But comparison to blossom is better, you het 1,2 in stats a random 2 drop is in huge mayority better thgan a 1/2.
So on general you netdeck less value with this compared to ancient of blossom which doesnt see play. So why on earth would anybody play this? Its way to understated.
An interesting question would be how much stats this needed to be anywhere close to playable. A Random 2 drop we can asume is about 2/3 (which is generous because lots of 2 drops have battlecrys and stuff that screws you over like gastropod/doomsayer).
3/8 is blossom statline so on an 5/11 you break even on a generous case at a 6/12 this might be worth the risk. Thats already 2/2 above the actual card which shows how bad this actually is.

Looks good. Has roadblock potential like Sludge Belcher, tar creeper. I think the 4 damage may end up being a selling point.
Amazing card to recruit with another card
I want to love it because it would piss off all the RNG haters.
But it's never going to be competitive, so they won't actually have to worry about it. Oh, well.

You don’t want to be giving your opponent tempo, ever. So yeah, this is kinda bad.

Not enough upside for the downside. Just bad.
Playable, but will not be included in many decks. 4 attack always good vs priests tho.

Pretty cool card, but potentially giving your opponent a good Bonemare target going into turn 7 is scary.
