Aaaaand it's weird. Hold out for seeing this in Shaman with whatever Blizzard plans to make Runespear viable with, as well as whatever weirditude gets dished out to Big Mage. Until then... ugh. Not seeing it.

...How? I think you would like to control precisely when your Defiles, Hellfires, and Twisting Nethers are cast, not to mention the Trolden possibilities from this casting Blastcrystal or Siphon on itself.

Does this consume the spell from your deck or just cast a copy of it? If it cast a copy could be good in some form on control mage I guess with blizzard flame strike secrets and glyph would have to take out fireballs ect.
Might be playable in Priest, where removal is either above or below 4 attack, and some rrrrrreally good outcomes (Free From Amber, Mind Control, Shadow Essence, Devour Mind), and even if it hits Power Word: Shield, that's two cards thinned from your deck with a 4/9 body? Dragonfire Potion isn't exactly great, on an empty board... but, it doesn't outright kill this either.
There's a lot of deck thinning mechanics in this expac...
I may just be misunderstanding you here, but it casts the spell from your deck, as in it removes it. Plus, I still fail to see how potentially Blastcrystal-ing or Siphon-ing anything on your own board is a positive. It CAN be good in Mage or Shaman or some top-heavy Hunter that have a lot of non-targeted spells, but Warlock has too much polarizing AoE and targeted removal for it to be left up to chance.

The thing about this card is unlike RNG that pulls from every card in the game, you can control and minimize the RNG due to it only casting spells from your deck. There'd be no situation where it'd siphon soul or blast crystal itself because you'd never run those two cards in the same deck. This card gets good when you play it in a deck where there are no bad outcomes. Whether that type of deck will exist by the time the expansion comes out is up for debate, but regardless it's still a card that has a use in at least a meme-y, fun deck.
We all like some RNG fun, don't we? Discuss!

Lol why

More RNG!
Really dislike this type of rng mechanic, I question why they continue to make even more each expansion with its infamous reputation
hunter cotw memes inc.
Actually pretty good if you can manage to make a deck that has no bad outcomes. Probably too slow for aggro, though.
So, why does a meme card get better stats than competitive ones is beyond me

"Random 8-drop" is ruined by this expansion

Seems pretty bad, but there is possible synergy with a Big spell deck with Raven Familiar and Spiteful Summoner.
On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3

Mind Control only Priest, PogChamp?

Honestly with call of the wild this might not be too bad. The tempo swing of a 8 mana 4/7 that plays cotw might be worth cutting skill command
