If the opponent don't get the card you build a heavy draw deck and play this card when hit fatigue, but the ransom card is to make sure this is the garbage neutral legendary of expansion.
Well if the enemy uses the ransom card then tempo wise you just got yourself a 3 mana 5/5 which is pretty good.
This expansion seems only for memes.. i really doubt anyone will be playing next month when expansion comes.. first time i am so disappointed by Blizzard in years.
Druid Turn 10 if your opponent has at least 6 cards in hand. You played Hemet, Jungle Hunter the turn before to have 0 card in the deck left. Now play 2x Naturalize and drop this card.
This card is excellent in rogue. You draw your entire deck in a miracle / mill fashion, then you fill your opponent's hand with oracle, and then you play this card. Since his hand is full, he doesn't have the ranson, and his deck is pretty nothing since you drawed all your deck before.
sounds great. knew there would be some application for this.
All i ever want with this card is to play rogue with alot of draw and control get Shadowstep on 1 or 2 Coldlight Oracle then when i get King Togwaggle i draw my opponent to 10 play this and enjoy having his deck for the rest of the game while he has what little is left of mine and no way to get it back since he couldn't get King's Ransom because his hand was full. This is my dream. Or priest play King TogwaggleMind Vision the King's Ransom so you can keep his deck that way.
you swap decks with your opponent and they draw one card from your deck which should be a none control deck, your opponent is FORCED to pay 5 mana to get his deck back or else if he needs his deck for his game plan, he must do that and you get a 8 mana 5/5 and made your opponent draw an unwanted card.
this card is actually good I think if your deck contains no good cards mostly (thinking about warlock) while distrupting both a draw and 5 mana from your opponen'ts turn (5 mana is a BIG deal)
this card will mostly be played for the memes but I see how this card can be good.
If you play this and your opponent swaps back the next turn, you will lose 1 card from your deck, while he doesn't, at the expense of 2 mana, net deficit in tempo. That's not all that bad actually in a control mirror, meaning you kinda fuck yourself over with this.

You have to pay 8 mana for a 5/5 though, and 8 mana is a bigger deal. If "your deck contains no good cards" is the condition you need for this card to be good, it's not a good deck. Why would you choose to clutter your deck with garbage just so one card is hypothetically useful?

That is not a Kobald card - that is a total Troll card.
Basicaly the Nogenfogger of this expansion.

Love how the poll for this card has the same number of votes for meta defining as bad but has 0 votes in very good

I think its bad but, i hope it isnt playable this is an effect i dont want to see in the game.
Hemet, Jungle Hunter + King Togwaggle + Gnomeferatu = GG
Swap secret mage meta incoming
Bad, but enables shenanigans, such as: Fill opponents hand into Explore Un'Goro into King Togwaggle into Skulking Geist into profit
To gimmicky and big brained to be viable unfortunately
Oh god I can't wait for the memes it's gonna be crazy
