I like more Dragons. But this will backfire most times.
That's an absurdly bold claim without a shred of analysis to back it up. It will only backfire if the opponent is ALSO playing a two-turn kill, and has their entire setup in hand.
This is the type of card that sounds really crazy on both accounts (upside and downside), but is actually quite difficult to use as many decks are just going to find a way to take advantage of this card with anywhere from 7-10 mana. The mirror of this is rough because your opponent gets to just do their combo early; against jades you will have to deal with the second iteration of Medivh+UI on the same “turn” (twig of the world tree being the other). Very interesting but not a card that seems to be cut and dry good or bad.
The reason they don't like OTK decks is because there is little explicit interaction with a deck that plans to OTK you. While this card may turn out to be equally non-interactive, the Priest will have to do something to survive two consecutive turns for at least 15 mana before the Priest can begin their OTK (technically TTK, but mostly the same concept). I think the setup will require more than just surviving and drawing the combo pieces.
It's an interesting card for sure. If it becomes top tier, counter decks that plans to abuse those two turns will also be very interesting to see. This card may really shape the whole meta around it.
People keep saying this, as if you don't have any choice as to WHEN you play Temporus. It's fantastic against aggro decks once you've cleared their board twice and they have no reload. If they're top-decking, they can't do crap even in two consecutive turns.
You can’t give a free turn in this meta. Only mage could handle it with Secrets and Freeze. It doesn’t need much analysis. You don’t need a two turn kill deck to kill in two turns (especially after turn 7).

If they're topdecking and you are out of danger, why would you need two turns. After stabilizing, you just win. That's it. Playing temporus is just giving them another chance. Or it is a win more card and superfluous.
I feel like this will be one of those cards that when played is going to cause a lot of "fun and interactive" moments... I dont care if its extremely broken or really bad... I feel like it's introducing an anti-fun mechanic...
This is pretty good. Priest can play an OTK deck, and almost cut all control cards. They can make a deck solely relying on an OTK combo, and dont put a single card in the deck that helps in the control match up. You can put all the tools in a deck to defeat aggro and tempo decks, and just win almost every control match up because of 1 card in your deck. This will almost deff. give you a winrate above 50% in any meta.
I think this guy gets it. I main wild, and I have been playing the version of Reno/DK priest with the dragon shell, so that it has more earlier boeard presence and tempo. Maybe with this you could go the other way, ditch the singleton, play tempo/dragon priest, and have a couple of cards which can give you and 0TK (TTK, whatever) against those control decks which would stop you.
A combo of "just" Valen, Malygos, and Mind Blast can get you 24 damage, 20 of which over taunt and stealth. Thats even without Holy Smite (38 damage). Don´t know if putting those cards in would hurt that much dragon priest as to lower winrates against aggro/midrange, but I like the idea of having a deck with more than one completelly different gameplan, according to the opponent.
Building on this idea, I think Dragon Priest (mainlly in wild) has some tools that can limit the drawback of the two turns:
- Early board: some oversatated minnions can make it so that you are at least a bit ahead before playing Temporus
- Taunts (2/4 and 3/6): which can be played alongside Temporus to minimize damage intake
- Board clear: the new 3 damage dragon, as well as dragonfire potion, lighbomb, which can grant an clear board
Why would anyone want to give an extra turn to your opponent first?? Unless your opponent does nothing on the "extra' turn, you will be holding this card forever to find a moment when they just throw their turn doing something irrelevant. 400 dust.
Okay...I honestly have no idea what to think of this card. You probably don't want to play it against OTK Mage because it gives them a lot of extra time to charge up their combo and then just OTK you, and it could be dangerous against Druid because they get their mana recharged back to 10 two times, allowing them to lay down a lot of threats. If you're facing an Aggro deck with this, I guess it would be dependent how low on health you are and how many cards the enemy has in their hand. You'd either allow them to throw a ton of damage at your face for free or just sit back and laugh as they can't do anything to kill you when you turn around the fight on their face. Same thing goes for Midrange decks, either they set up a damn good board or just cry at the cards in their hand before you unleash your gigantic Control deck hand of wrath. I know someone is gonna try to set up some sort of OTK combo with this thing or find a way to get around the downside, so we'll have to see how it goes. But as of right now, there's no telling how strong this thing will really be.
Quest mage without Quest and Ice Blockso
so we can't call it Quest Preist.
OH we should call it "Tempo Priest"
400 dust, and the art is very ugly.
My magic will tear you apart!
I put my Money that this is going to be the "this card is shit -> plis nerf" card of the expansion, like Keleseth and Rogue Quest

Why everyone thinks that this card is OP?
First problem - You need to survive your opponents turn, then you can play your combo, lol.

damn this card should be neutral - I like it a lot.
Or use Valeera the first turn then end the game the next one
